The Ire of Fire
Created by Felipe dos and Debo37

Gametypes Supported:
Free-For-All slayer
Team Slayer
One Flag
One Bomb
Territories
Evenball
Juggernaut
Recommended Players: 4 - 12
The Ire of Fire is an aesthetic map at heart, seeing as its main feature is an enormous dragon that looms over the open area of foundry. Despite this major aesthetic creation, The Ire of Fire is amazingly playable and excels at one-sided gametypes, despite being set-up for all default gametypes, as well as the custom Evenball gametype.
The body of the dragon is entirely explorable - you are able to climb up through either its hand, or enter at its neck and make your way up (via a grav-lift) to the mouth of the beast. This is the location for the Score/Capture point in most one-sided games, and also acts as a great vantage point in slayer games.
Opposite the dragon is a large wall that acts as the dividing line between the attackers and the defenders bases. On one side is the dragon. On the other side, in the back area of foundry, is a pair of small bases that contain attacker spawns and also some basic weapon spawns.
This map is quite an amazing piece of forge. Creating a map that is primarily aesthetic but still entirely playable is an unbelievably tough undertaking, and to have succeeded like the Ire of Fire has done is a great achievement for Felipe dos and Debo37.

Ultimate Budget Glitch |

Ultimate Budget Glitch
A budget glitched map is one that allows you to ignore the map budget and enables map makers to include far more items than would usually be possible. One of the problems with budget glitched maps is that it requires one of each object to be initially placed on the map. This clutters a map right from the start and is hardly an ideal working environment. There are alternatives, such as in Foundry where there are canvases available with objects outside the map, but if you need to use them it's tiresome getting them back into the playable area.
So one day, TheCartographer and BuddhaCrane thought: "Wouldn't it be nice to have a fully budget glitched map without any of the clutter?" BuddhaCrane writes:
~
TheCartographer (A friend on my FR list) gave me the inspiration for this trick. He got the ball rolling, and I made a rube goldberg machine with that ball. (Silly metaphor)
Enough with the introductory build-up and suspense! On with the method!
- Have two people in the party (either over LIVE or in a Local match)
- One person (player 1) goes to the object menu (hit X) and navigates to the item you wish to budget glitch. Then, go to its object summary where you can alter the run-time maximum (hit X again).
- The other person (player 2) also goes to the menu (hit X), navigates to that same item. They then spawn that object (hit A).
- Player 1, on the object summary, goes to the run-time maximum and makes sure it's highlighted (i.e. so they can alter the number - hit A). The number should be highlighted at "1". (This will have automatically happened when your team-mate spawned the object).
- Player 2 holding the object now deletes it.
- Player 1 on the

2v2 Faceoff. Round Two.
As the largest of the 2v2 Faceoff maps, Yukon Canyon will let you stretch your legs while you display your BR skill. This asymmetrical map takes up only about a quarter of Avalanche, but that’s still plenty of space for four people. You’ll find that communication, cooperation, and steady aim will be required to win on this map. Control the Canyon, and win the round.
There are plenty of weapons and lots of equipment on Yukon. From the rockets, to the brute shot, to the sniper rifle, to the sentinel beam, there is a lot of firepower here. But all of the weapons have been carefully balanced against the number of BRs and carbines on the map. You’ll never be far from something useful. And that’s good, because players relying on the assault rifle that they spawn with will not last long on this map.
The map itself is not much to look at, and you certainly won’t see anything special if you just look at the map in Forge mode. But the map really comes to life when you load up a custom match and start shooting. Oh, and one last thing: picking up the overshield on the map will activate a switch and cause a few extra things to spawn. For more information about the switch, read the blog post about Yukon Canyon.
Good luck to everyone... [Read More]
