@Soldat Du Christ Are you asking for feedback on the topdown? It looks well done. Hard to identify for people that dont look at topdowns frequently. Maybe some additional indicators for height, negative space, and hazards would be helpful.
oh and why is the little ***** pissing on the big peni . . you know what, never mind I don't want to know.
Say what you want but this silly forge community is still a great way for people to spice up their careers, venture into the Halo universe of the future and create stuff for the games they love.

The closer Infinite gets the more nervous I am about the upcoming Forge release. If the jump from 5 to 6 is as big as 2A to 5 with co-op split back in the mix I'm sure we'll all be satiated, if only just. Truth is I'm getting tired of getting just enough to get me by. I really want to see something that let's forgers make maps that rivals if not flat out beats Dev maps in style as well as quality. I want players to not realize the maps they're playing in matchmaking are Forge made.
Just the thought of all it gives me the heebie-jeebies.

Wow do I ever hate the multiplayer maps lineup on Halo 4. My buddies have asked if there are any maps there that I can tweak up in our preferred play style since we almost never play it. Not only are most of the maps oversized but they are so full of ****ing clutter. I would almost play the worst map from any other Halo before playing Halo 4's best (Remakes excluded). So many times I felt like the devs had built a map and then their director came in and said "add more land and just fill it in with stuff"
I dislike the art direction on virtually every map and I really don't care for the sound. It would be great if with all the games in one place we could choose our preferred weapon and vehicle sounds from any title to be used on any title. Any sounds that don't overlap, ignore. I'd probably set them all to Halo 3's sounds and be done with it.
Oh and on the topic of bitching, I would love to get rid of that ****ing rising sun on Halo 2's Awash. It totally ****s with the one map I built that I actually enjoy on it.

To anyone that is interested: I’m frequently adding level design content to my twitter page (@the_xzamplez). I’ve always wanted a source that I can just look at endless images and videos of maps, so I decided to create one. I’ve been doing it since blocktober, and I’m already at almost 1,000 tweets, 99% of them being level design related. I’ll also follow anyone that shares mostly level design content.

@Sikamikanico Definitely want to take a look at the spawning again. Mainly just through placeholder spawns down in the original iteration but I predict that we will have some issues, particularly with the spawn in the cabin of the ship under the initial spawns. If you haven't fixed that already.
Edit: Also, why aren’t any fish in the water?
Made some me good progress on Decimation over the weekend, but it still has a long way to go.
