Holy balls man you're alive
When I saw your name I was like...Chuck? That looks so familiar lol.
Yeah, I don’t even forge anymore I just come here and lurk the waywo for the banter. Just watching these young whipper snappers act ungrateful when they don’t know what we had to go through in our days.
I've never seen a cook with so much passion
Dark souls is trash
bad br weow
Anyone who still plays video games are bad
Had a rough night buddy?
He probably lost to vordt again
isnt that the final boss? i couldnt get past that guy that crawls around so i dont blame him. the game is overrated anyways you can only jump like a foot high i can jump higher in real life
No seriously guys i wasnt trolling the game is objectively bad
Troll-dat Du Christ...
Halo 5 is objectively bad because of its butchering of objective game types
i admit games are in a really weird spot. a lot of big triple A titles have been a one way ticket to disappointment for a while now.
i play Overwatch and uh, Overwatch? i look at s h i t like Fortnite and i want to die.
Ive been working on upping my ninja game on trials. Ninja tracks are any tracks that are harder than the standard dev tracks. They go from level 1-8. I passed my first 4 today.
This is the track (not my replay)
video games are in this spot where all the popular games are decent enough to play but either have shitty communities or are being oversaturated with twitch streaming and "gamer culture" and monetizing schemes. you want this cool skin? gotta grind for ingame currency or pay real dollars for it. i've never played fornite and i already don't like it because of all the stupid videos i see on instagram and twitter.
then there are those AAA titles that come out rushed and then you have to wait for the rest of the game to release, or the one-and-done titles that you play for like 50 hours, and by the halfway mark you realize you're just doing different variations of the same **** you've been doing, so then you get bored and wait for another game.
i've always played a very specific set of games - and by that i mean once i played halo (and started forging), i pretty much only played halo - so i've only recently started to branch out. as nice as it is to pick up a new title, i feel like i can only get into a game for a few days and then i'm bored of it. and if it's something that intrigues me, there's not enough of it to replay over and over.
part of that is just growing old. i never thought i would get tired of games, but i realized that the titles i want to play are shifting towards multiplayer social experiences and i don't feel like raging with nerds in online communities or waiting for balance patch after balance patch anymore. i just want to turn on a single player campaign at night and play something chill to escape reality for a few hours. but even those games are becoming typecast now and it's exhausting going through the grind.
People didn't know they wanted the shooter genre before someone created it.
People didn't know they wanted a game like Halo until it came out.
People didn't know they liked battle royal until H1Z1 brought the genre into public view.
Nothing has changed. People still don't know what they want, and they won't.
