    Guess Who's Back

We're back again with another ForgeHub Weekly Update! We've got some big things lined up for this weeks article. How big? Maybe something as big as a new community playlist. Maybe even something as big as a Scarab. Let's dive into this weeks article and get right to it!

    Last Man Standing

On Thursday, 343 launched their newest community playlist. Extermination! That's right, ForgeHub's very own home grown game mode has flowered into matchmaking! For those unfamiliar with the mode, Extermination is an elimination based mode where teams of four battle it out on smaller sized maps. The only way to win rounds is to have the entire enemy team dead at once. The mode has had huge support from the community and it's great to see another 100% community generated playlist in matchmaking. Be sure to check out the full article by 343 here.

Everyday more and more awesome content gets created and it’s amazing what the community can do! Let’s take some time to highlight some of the latest and greatest from the past week.

    Oracle by Bloodpony

We all have different inspirations for building maps. In Oracle, Bloodpony sought to recreate a piece of Halo concept art he stumbled upon. The end result; a beautiful map custom built for the hot community mode, Extermination. Give this map a bookmark and a play or two!

Halo 3 Scarab by Picceta and Teh Razor

Few things bring back as much nostalgia as much as these behemoths do. The Scarab is an integral part to any Halo 3 fan's experience and many forgers have attempted to recreate these monsters in forge. After several months of work and a full 1600 pieces, Picceta and Teh Razor have managed to produce a super high quality Scarab of their own for all to enjoy. Flip on the Halo 3 soundtrack and give this beauty a walk through.

Familiar with the wild 16 player free-for-all mode known as Battle Royale? Well then you might also know Mental Stamina. His channel is the hub for all things revolving around the mode and his combination of wicked gameplay and smooth narration makes all of his videos a treat to watch. Want to learn more? Check out his channel here!
