Pop those celebratory bottles, ladies and grunts, the results are in. Hot off the presses from 343 Industries, we have our long awaited winners of the Halo 2 Anniversary: ForgeTacular! For those of you just now joining us, first of all, where have you been and why are you here now? Secondly, let's recap quickly on our top ten finalists, shall we?

On behalf of ForgeHub staff and the collective Halo community, I'd like to thank everyone who submitted their creation to our contest. No matter who's map reigns supreme, these ten above are all fantastic functioning maps to load up in a lobby that craves classic Halo gameplay, and I implore each and every one of you to check out the complete list of submissions here to find something else to tickle your psychotic cyborg-slaying fancy. Without further ranting, I'm going to do something we've never done here at ForgeHub and hand the metaphorical mic over to 343 Industries to reveal our winners. Take it away, fellas!

343: "#3 Epic – internally known as “Madness”
"The matches we played on this map were some of the most hectic and we spent a lot of time throwing bodies at the various power weapons on the map trying to get control, but nobody ever could. We had a blast play testing this one because it was never a dull moment. The verticality, weapons, and speed of the map made us all want to come back and play more after each round on it."

343: "#2 Heatstroke – internally known as “Baby Gulch”
"Though the workings of the map don’t mimic blood gulch entirely, it has that feel as you are placed in a canyon surrounded by high rock walls and move between the two core bases either on walkways above or through the tunnels below. Built for 4v4 modes, the warthogs and ghosts on this map are going to play crucial rolls in who is victorious on this map."

343: "#1: Select – internally known as “Not so Narrows”
"This map has an awesome throwback feel of Narrows with great lanes and visibility for some epic fights. From the new and fun quick jumps from bottom to top areas or the ability to escape foes using the hidden man cannons bottom mid – this map plays fast, fun, and we are all looking forward to what the community thinks."

Congrats to all the winners and thank you to all the participants, this couldn't have happened without your support! We hope to be able to do more collaborations with 343i in the future that involve the community! Thanks again, and until next time, Forge on :forgehub:
