    The goal is simple like all good mini games. Dodge a few balls, drive back down, and score. Of course there are classes to help you, one with Sprint, Evade, and armour lock.

    The mongooses are the scoring item. Even though these golf balls are also scoring items, they do not count toward the teleporter below, that only counts players in a vehicle. Past the teleporter is a soft kill zone, which forces each ball to respawn back up to the top, causing a constant flow of speedy golf balls.

    Once the player is teleported, he will land in the scoring room. All the player has to do is drive into the team's room.

    Once the player enters a room, the mongoose counts towards that teams goal, forces the player off the mongoose, then is teleported back the spawning room with a fountain of skulls to celebrate your feat.

    And thats pretty much it. Teams fight against eachother to score the most points before the time runs out.

    This is a very nice looking map, love the skulls in the end! The aesthetics are nice and there seems to be more than enough challenge to score :D I´ll DL and give it a try, although I already know I´m going like it!

    omg, so many balls! How did you do that? There's just so many! I just downloaded it and played it and had a great time. Such a simple idea, but hey, simple games are usually the most fun. I hope to see more ballsy related game from you.

    isn't the max ball limit 10 balls ?? whatever its a great minigame map!

    Holy **** this is ****ing awesome, I've never seen someone use the halo ball minigame like this! The map itself is pretty nice too! Excellent idea and gametype =)

    As soon as I saw that it was Darth Human I downloaded. Darth's mind is my favorite mini-game of all time!

    Also, how did you get that many golf balls?

    Hm? I already knew if thats what you meant. And this is actually something completely different. In fact its not even really a glitch. Its just me taking advantage of the non-existing limitations that bungie forgot to set for their insane gametype.

    with the new gametypes ''insane'' you can put the hill marker to ball respawn point so make 75 hill with that and you get this

    I still don't seee how the unlimted toys meganism works.

    For example: You spawn 10 golf balls ''fixed'' in the air, wich is the maximum amount of golf balls on forge world.
    You set the min to max (10)
    You then set everything to ''normal''.

    The golf balls keep floating and you start a new round.
    They fall down but nothing happends.
    They don't instant respawn like in the video.

    What am i doing wrong here? I can understand how this would work with explosives, since they will just explode and respawn again, but all of the other objects are simply not ''breakable'' (like a golf ball)

    HELP!

    It's a gametype specific feature. Go into Forge with the Haloball gametype, and you'll see that there's a ball starting point label. Simply place hill markers down (there's a max of 75 I believe) and label them "ball starting point" or whatever the label is. You can label other objects as the starting point as well, for way more than 75.

    This looks like an awesome original mini game. Keep at it Darth Human.

    Ah but this is the best part! You don't have to use just hill markers, you can use raspawn points, capture plates, anything! So virtually you can have unlimited golf balls, but after about 125 it starts to lag.

    Some1 has to video explain this to me, because i have no idea how this works.

    How are you suppose to get unlimited (so to speak) soccer balls or any other ''normal'''object?

    And how is it instant respawning as a Ball_start_Location (as a golf ball)
    When it isn't instant respawning on Haloball in mtachmaking?

    Whilst in the forge lobby, go to the gametypes list and select Haloball from the Insane gametypes list. If you don't already have the gametype, you can download it Here

    Now start forge. Place any object down that you want and go into the advanced settings for that object. Set the gametype label to Ball_start_Location. Now whenever you play the Haloball Gametype on that map, a ball will spawn on that object, thus allowing you to spawn many balls.

    The number of balls you have spawning is limited to the number of objects that are available in forge, so an infinite number of balls is not possible, but you can still have quite a few spawning.

    The balls respawn when they hit any object that has been labeled as HB_Goal(or something similar), but the scoring zone hasn't been given a team, so the ball just respawns without any scoring occuring, or something like that. The ball only respawns in matchmaking when it hits the scoring zone, so it does instantly respawn, but only when scored.

    I was directing the comment at the multiple people who responded asking how you had made multiple balls.

    However, I was unaware that you could do what you're doing with the balls. That's pretty awesome. I'm not sure I particularly understand how that works yet, but I'll check more into it.

    Nvm, I get it now, you can have any number of objects set as the original ball spawn, totally thought it was more complicated than that.

    Holy crap, I just cannot wait to play on this. It's rare for me to comment in the custom map forums, but this I could just not go without, I'm sure it'll be a great addition to casual parties.

    It's fascinating, how did you make a fountain of flaming skulls appear? I don't know the ins-and-outs of the insane gametype, is this a spawnable item now?? I will be playing this tonight for sure! It looks hilarous!!!!!!

    played that in your lobby, it was just a blast :D
    made it to the top about 4 times using AL which is very useful.
    did you mention the healthpacks in the gaps?
    downloading it right now and subbed you^^
    thanks for another epic minigame i will enjoy :)

    Just got a chance to play this for the first time and it was exactly how I thought it would be (awesome). This really does bring back the old DK games except on a whole new level. There were a couple things about the game that bothered me, though. Armor lock, while it did have it's uses, kind of took the competitiveness out of the game and was just down right unfair in most cases. Let's just say if I play it again it won't be a choice. I also think that upping the humans speed would add to the intensity of the game and also allow more points to be scored in one game.

    Overall, great job using the new gametype in such a stupid awesome way.
