"ig - dra - sil"
Yggdrasil is a Forerunner extermination map named after the Norse tree of creation. It is part 2 in my upcoming trilogy of Norse / Forerunner extermination maps, the first being my contest map Helheim.
The map was originally built with a blended Sentinel Beam / Twin Jewels glitched weapon. The weapon has been removed to improve gameplay, but you can download a prefab for the original power weapon here.
We could talk about what period of Forerunner architecture I'm going for til we're blue in the face, but ultimately Yggdrasil is my own interpretation of the Forerunner aesthetic. Overall, I was going for a clean forge with minimal clutter and smooth performance. I think the whole thing is between 800-900 objects.
