"DON'T LOOK BACK..."
This was my first attempt to make a psychological horror game here on Halo 5 before The Cellar. A map based on the classic horror game Slenderman: The Eight Pages.
A mostly-perfect recreation of the original experience, this frightening environment and the stalking sense will put you at the edge of your seat. After Monitor's Bounty update I could add more immersive assets to get the finest remake of this creepy ambience. No kidding, playing on this map will cause some scarejumps and blowminds. This map works with the custom gametype: Slenderman.
The innovative and addictive sense of the map has brought this creation to be featured on Halloween SpookyFest.
Gametype: Slenderman

INSTRUCTIONS
Slenderman (Alpha Infected)
Kill every survivor before they find the pages.
Slenderman is the perfect example of "stalking entity". To make the game work and recreate the experience Slenderman has slow movements but he can blink himself with the customized personal teleporter, a creepy ability that lets Slenderman hunt from the shadows. Also he can search survivors with his wide-range radar and with every kill he will be able to see every survivor's position.
Survivors
Find and collect all the eight pages scattered on the map to finish the round as survivor.
Survivors must find the 8 pages scattered throughout the scenarios in the forest in order to end the round harmless and score. Survivors cannot kill Slenderman, so they must run away at sight. Survivors can evade the stalking ability of Slenderman by looking for corners or changing directions.
- At the beginning I implemented the same system as The Cellar to this map, but thanks to the Monitor's Bounty update the pages now do spawn 100% randomnly each round. Of course team work and communication are essential to find the pages accordingly.
- Also, I could add better aesthetics and scripted sounds to alert all players when a page is found.
- And, to add a more immersive and get a perfect recreation, I got a way to give survivors the menacing percusions in the background when the game becomes harder and the scare jump effect when Slenderman approaches nearby. Creepy...
