Map Description

  1. nadekil
    A very large map based mostly on Infinity and Danger Canyon from Halo CE. The map consists of a deep, long, and narrow S shaped canyon. There are 2 forerunner structures built into the cliffs, and connected by 2 bridges. At the bottom of each forerunner structure is a pit of lava. There are several rock ledges, good for snipers, and several vehicles (tanks, warthogs, mongooses, wasps, and ghosts). There is also a small lake in the middle of the map with an energy sword in the middle. The map has plenty of cover despite it's size, and good verticallity too.

    Try to light up those dark shadowy areas. Emissives or other light sources go a long way while also making the structures look more appealing. If you have rock paths, they're easier to see and understand if they have flats on them. Consider an appropriate lift or teleporter system to make non-vehicle map traversal easier. And avoid just having canyons for open fights; add some large or medium tunnels where you think they'd fit too. Gentle hills offer a surprising amount of cover, and I like to look at Coagulation for an example of that. Just make it as cool as you can!

    Thanks for the feedback I agree that the map could use better lighting and yeah I will try to improve on the things you suggested
