Introduction
Right off making Onyx I felt saddened by the current selection of symmetrical 4v4 maps. So I made anotha one.

Making Russet
The beginnings of Russet were a rather grim and dark time for the map. The original layout looks entirely indistinguishable from what the final product has come to be known as. The map was redesigned about 7 times. Here's an early picture of the layout and an early blockout I had done for what would eventually become Russet
Looking at this layout, it is easy to see how much it has changed.
