Map Description

  1. Buddy Jumps
A secret lays beneath this temple... Discover it!

Osnos is an aesthetical, medium-difficult jump map with some easy puzzles included. It plays best with 1-3 players and is used with my "Inveni!" gametype.
It's kind of like Repudium in the matter of a jump-puzzle map, but with less and easier puzzles.

I don't show more pictures since I don't want to spoil all the cool stuff. Play it if you want to see more. ;)

    Some extra information:
    • There are framerate drops in the beginning area, I am sorry for that. After the third jump they're gone.
    • There is one checkpoint.
    • Little tip for the first puzzle: Look at the structure at the beginning. There is a sign...
    • A friend of mine, zzSOzz (Snoz ---> Osnos), requested an easy, aesthetical jump map long time ago. Now I am finally finished in making it.

    Sweet jumps! :hot:

What do you think about it, though? :) It's not very hard to beat it.

It was cool, i loved the room with all the blocks. It was pretty hard just to find the right path at first. I did not like those infection door things, I could not consistently pass those. The drop down things were cool as well, I believe there were 2 of them.

I absolutely love how you make reliefs without Cliffs, it looks really great.

    Thanks, man!
It's a design rule I set to myself in H2A. In my opinion it's a bad thing to pair
    • "green objects" (flat, hill) and a green plane
    • cliff, seastack and generic rock
    • (green objects and cliff and generic rock)
Cliffs and green objects probably work, I haven't tried to give my maps a more "stoney" look, though, since that would probably give away the jungle feeling which can be perfectly achieved with Tree01's and green objects.
I could try mixing it up a little bit in future projects... :)
