  1. Being the incredibly competitive and skilled slayer player I am, I must say that this was one of the funnest (and high octane) little 2v2's I've ever played. In all seriousness, the geometry was interesting, the layout felt different than other 2v2's, and the aesthetics kept up to par with the incredibly entertaining game play. I may not be the most knowledgeable forger when it comes to competitive design (despite my earlier claim :P) but I'd sure give this map a cookie!

    This map is the f*cking sh*t! Seriously though the games I played on here were easily some of the greatest 2v2s I have ever had. The map is designed in such a way that it naturally pulls players to the middle, making it easy to find encounters bringing a good controlled pace to the map. I think this design succeeds very well in maintaining this fast pace but without sacrificing the tactical play that makes 2v2s so interesting.

    The narrow sight lines through the windows from the sniper spawn and around the middle lead to some quite unique encounters when used effectively. The man cannon and teleporter along with the speed boost create great opportunities for attacking the middle but players will also want to control the sniper and brute shot that spawn closer to the edges of the map.

    I found myself using the lower levels to flank people controlling top mid from underneath. Even then I am still encouraged to be in the middle of the map and I think it is this consistent focus on interaction with the maps central point of control that makes it play well. There is enough predictability to ensure that encounters do not feel random yet I never feel limited on this map. I think it is impossible to do a map justice with text so all in all I have to simply say go play it, because it is a truly excellent map. Great work on this one!

    The map looks great from the pictures. I took a walk through it in forge, and was not disappointed.
    This is the first time I've been excited about playing a new map in quite a while. :)
    I'll be back with feedback after I get some games on it.

    I finally got a game on here. I don't feel comfortable writing an official review after one game but I had 2 main issues with the map.
    First, there are a few areas where the frame rate gets pretty bad.
    Second, the spawning is pretty brutal.

    For the frame rate, I guess you just have to decide for yourself whether you're okay with it. You could easily get rid of it, but you'd have to sacrifice the appearance somewhat. I personally always lean towards smooth frame rate, but it's not game breaking.

    Regarding spawning, there's honestly probably not much you can do to improve it. On a map where everyone gravitates to the center, and a person in the center can gain a view of almost any part of the map within a couple of seconds, spawning is going to be an issue. To a certain extent, overcoming a series of spawn kills and gaining the advantageous position is what this style of map is all about. Unfortunately, it's really annoying when you're the man on the bottom, and some people aren't going to be willing or able to overlook that. It is what it is though.

    Overall, I didn't think the map played either amazing or terrible, but somewhere in between. It was nice to play a map that's unique, and I really like the fact that you didn't play it safe with this design.
