"Hive" is an asymmetrical 1v1 map inspired by the Uprising mission from Halo 2. The layout consists of a central atrium with a lift-beam erupting from a pool below. This is a slow and risky movement option if used from the bottom to ascend to the upper levels, but it can also be used to boost your jump across to an upper level. The outer blue hallway also has a similar lift that allows you to move above the sender room and onto the middle level. Red tower sits at the top of the central atrium and has a lift that shoots you into it from red corner. Players have the choice of several positions to defend: carbine spawn at red corner, teleporter exit and red tower but they are encouraged to stay mobile due to lack of cover at those locations.
