A Halo 5 spin on Halo on Halo
Halo Isle is straightforward minigame using the classic Halo rocket launcher and mongoose. Most players will be attempting to complete a challenging track with a lone survivor raining death from above. Much like its Halo 3 inspiration, it is difficult to win with fewer than 10 players, but is enjoyable with any size lobby. The map features difficult jumps and skips rewarding those who push their driving abilities. More about those later.
An aspect I have enjoyed immensely about this map was creating different and often intervening paths. This gave way to some interesting cinematic moments and hilarious collisions. Some examples of the split paths are shown above.
The image above shows one of the many skips that can be attempted. These skips are often times very difficult but extremely satisfying. The spartan pictured above has mastered this jump and makes it look easy. Finding holes in the "correct" path is encouraged and greatly expands the replay value of this map.
The map features many death defying jumps sure to give even the most experienced spartans a challenge. Have fun mastering the jumps and trolling your friends. Be sure to leave me any feedback you have while playing. I'm not sure if anyone will even care with Halo Infinite around the corner and this being a "race" type map, but I hope you all enjoy. The video below shows gameplay of the map and is from a friend of mine who makes videos in his spare time, be sure to subscribe.
The video also includes some other maps of mine, one which hasn't been released, and a previously posted map.
Have fun everyone and stay safe!
