Conflux is a map that has been in the making starting all the way back in Reach. This map comes from a time when I barely knew anything about map design, but I felt that it had enough potential to be worth rebuilding it in Halo 5.
Here's a brief look at the past.
Overall, the map has gone through significant changes, partly to accommodate Halo 5's mechanics, but more importantly to tighten up the design.
I went into this rebuild from the beginning with the intent to make this map focus heavily on competitive play. As such, you will find that much of the sightlines and power positions are designed in such a way that they promote teams working together to gain superior positioning over their opponents.

2x Battle Rifle (Stabilization Jets)

1x Railgun (excluded in Assault)
1x Sniper (Assault only)
1x Active Camo (excluded in Assault)
1x Overshield (Assault only)
Of course, I intend to continue updating and improving this map for quite a while, so any feedback is much appreciated.
