    Being one of my first race maps on halo 5, the map was quite rough. This update just cleans up some of the roughness and smoothes out some of the drops and curves. The map is still rough in some areas, but to make it completely smooth would require a complete retrack of the entire map, which I just don't have the time for. The map is much more playable now.   3. New star effects.

    With the firefight update, Aurora now has more visual effects to accentuate the starry night theme. I've added the covenant star hologram in several places (in the first cave, on the top of the lift hill, on the jump over the bramble pit, and towards the end of the track). I've also added some gravity volumes on the sharp curve to make it a little easier to traverse. Finally, I added a few galaxy projections in the sky and above the track in some areas.   4. New fx and background aesthetics

    With the memories of reach update, there are now Jr. Kill balls and plasma balls used in the background sky above the first lift hill of the track to simulate stars. There are also forerunner spiral fx towards the end of the level. To wrap things up, there are support pillars along the track to simulate a real roller coaster, and I used the forerunner texture on them with the metallic set to 10.
  5. New version called Aurora (Sunrise)

    There is now an alternative version of the racetrack called Aurora (Sunrise), which if you added me as a friend you will find in both my bookmarks and file listing. The layout is the same, with the aesthetic change being at dawn instead of night, as well as a snowfall effect.
