Confirmed: At least 3 of each grenade in ODST

    Bungie could be bringing 4 grenades back. But holding 16 might be a little much, so it might just be 12.

    16 grenades would balance the lack of recharging sheilds. In fact, in a pinch you could throw 16 grenades out like a madman, and prey to whatever god they have in the 2500's that one doesn't go off near you or a team-mate.

    Works in Matchmaking. XD

    I'm pretty sure at E3, they had a moment where an ODST had four frags or maybe it was three like this one. Still cool though.

    :)  yes... Finally four grenades again! I spam the almighty sixteen grenades at you mr brute chieftain! Just because I think it will be virtually impossible to kill them any other way.

    More than 2 of each grenades have been confirmed ever since the gameplay trailer was released at E3....

    Anyway, this is pretty cool. Can't wait to be carrying a suitable amount of grenades again. I just wish that Bungie could have figured out a way to have Flame Grenades in Matchmaking without causing lag. It's really disappointing, because it's basically a part of the game that you never get to play with, except when you're screwing around in Forge or Custom Games.

    Doubt it, it'll probably just be limited to ODST campaign/firefight. H3 MM will still only have 2 limit.

    Well I do own one.... So I guess so....

    But, I never really was dissapointed by the fact that all grenade limits were divided. Because they introduced the Spikes which is still 2/3s of the grendades that you get in Halo CE/2. And if there are firebombs in gameplay, thats still a total of 8/8 grenades. Besides, players still find a way to constantly spam them- if there were spikes and firebombs and a player held 4 of each- 16 grenades will wipe out an entire team in BTB if its 2 grenades each person...

    What would it matter? It's campaign and firefight strictly. It's not like we're packing 16 for multiplayer. Aside from that 3-4 each for an ODST would be ideal as they're weak; allowing a larger grenade belt would give them an edge in a fight.

    I never said it mattered, I'm just pointing it out. and I already mentioned it wasn't going to be available in MM.

    16 grenades man thats alot to hold for 1 person bring the rain of grenades
