Because youtube is the quickest and easiest to use.

Because this is meant for people's favorited vids, whereas the reg thread is just for posting vids.

Another way to put it: that orly/om nom, etc Pic Thread is about posting pics. There is also a Graphics and Arts thread. I don't see how this is much different other than it being videos.

I thought about putting this in off topic, but then again, I thought more people would find this useful in the video thread.
