questions about testing :D

Sorry im asking a few questions around here, im new and dont want to break any rules.

So if I was to get my map tested, would I be able to join in and play with the testers? or do i sit on the side lines and observe?
And also does my map have to be tested first before I show it to the community, or can I just go ahead and show it?

Yeah you play with the testers and they tell you through the game whats going wrong.

You don't have to test a map, but it is advised as a untested map has an undefinable quality. Meaning after testing you will fix things up, making your map better in the long run.
