How to get your Map Tested
This guide explains how to get your map tested. If you don't follow these guidelines, you probably won't get your map tested!
Step 1: Make your map ready for testing. Finish spawn points, weapons, etc.
Step 2: Press the New Thread button in Testers Guild
Step 3: For the Title, enter "[Time You Want Testing]/[Day of Month for Testing] - [Map name]". Example: "12:45/18 - Blarrmap". The times should be listed in EST (GMT -5).
Remember to give the Testers a few days to fit into their schedule. If the title does not follow this example, your map may not get tested!
(For more Information on the Time for testing look at the
Testers Times Thread)
Step 4: Enter information about your map in the description. At a minimum, say what kind of map it is, how long the testing session will take, when it is, and how many players you need. The more information in the thread, the better. No download link is necessary. (See 'Map Posting Template' Later in the Post For more help on what your post should contain!)
Step 5: On your Xbox, send a Friend Request to 'FH Tester Guild'. It will not be accepted, however.
Step 6: When the time for testing comes, pop in your Halo and go to Custom Games. Navigate to 'FH Tester Guild' on your Friends List. Press A, then press right on the D-pad to go to Personal Profile, and go to View Friends.
Step 7: Press X over each person who is online.
Step 8: Test!
Step 9: After Testing, go to your Friends List, and press X over your pending friend request to 'FH Tester Guild'. This will take it off. You can resend the request next time you do a test.
Step 10: After testing and the removal of the Guild Tag, Return to Forgehub and go to the Feedback Fourm
Step 11: Find the date that you tested your map on and look for the feedback that is to your map.
If you wish to be in the Tester Guild, a thread is available where you can apply for the job. Testers will need to spend at least 5 hours a week. In return for this devotion of time, they will receive a special signature (with their username). Post when your test is done to say that your test is over. After a few days,
your thread will be locked.
