So you guys have never run into a situation where you don't have enough testers for a map? I personally think it would be easier to have a day knowing you can get enough people to play... and just need maps to play, then to have maps and need people to play.

Unless we can magically get every test we can then it would work, however thats impossible to do. Out of the 100+ Members only about 10 or even less sign up for tests.

As you should know, most hosts done even follow the template nor even make an attempt, so adding more 'detailed' information into the template wont really even be used.

PM, VM, or IM me for help with the FH forums about:
The GnA Section, about Graphics in general, or just to talk about something

I'll always respond :D

Oh and add me on Xbox Live if you want im a pretty fun guy to play with once you get to know me :3.

That thought is depressing... but I think that the reason they don't do it is because the task is a little daunting. The new template is so long that when i posted a map test last night i tried but quckly gave up and followed the loose rules of insane's. Insane's requires maybe 1 paragraph at the most but yours requires about 2 plus pictures. I do agree that pictures are a plus and i think we could keep just Insane's template with just a few minute changes.

I have noticed multiple problems with the way the system is now.

Just simply inviting people off of FH Tester Guild's Friend List is not working. I've noticed it, and I'm sure some of the people wanting to get their maps tested noticed it.

Most of us think that if someone invites us, its someone off of our recent players list, and NOT a testing session's host.

Here is my suggestion: Send a message ALONG with the invite saying "I need testers"
Therefore we know its a testing session and not one of the recent players or otherwise.

I actually tested this out. When i originally tested my Buck on Futter variant, 2 people signed up, but neither of them SHOWED up. Therefore, i went down FH Tester Guild's friend list and invited everyone. That didnt work either. So then i sent a message to EVERYONE on the friend list with the words "Need testers." I had 5 people within 3 minutes.

Maybe adding this to the original post may help some people with their testing situations.

Hmm...it should be up there somewhere, we've had this idea for a very very long time.
Thanks for the heads up though.

As a tester you must assume that every invite you get is a testing session. Never think its just so random guy. If it is not a testing session, you can always leave. What is so important in Halo that you cannot check out a testing session.

Thats actually not the issue. If i'm in Halo, i usually join to see. But say im watching netflix or that I'm in some other game. Then it becomes a hassle to the tester to change games, load up halo, load up saved files, connect, etc. to find out it was a bogus invite. I usually just send a message "is it a test" back.

Also, i've found that even if i do go, i am the only one to go out of everyone online.

You do not have to attend the sessions you don't sign up for. It's just that some people don't want to post up on the forums just to have few people sign up for the test. So, they just invite people from the tag to get a quick test out of the way.
