Honestly im a little sceptical about the whole submission template. With the demand for pictures its starting to seem too strict. normally i don't judge a map too much before by what is or is not said or shown. I like to go into the tests with an open mind and see weather or not its good from play not appearences. I remember a map with no interlocking whatsoever that was not made for the purposes of the lazy map makers contest and i loved it, not even noticing the lack of interlocking till later in the game. I think that no show casing should be needed in the testers guild

I think its great that you are giving us feedback on the way we do things around here. I reduced the number of pictures to one to make the template less demanding. We will continue to monitor the map session post requirements.

its fine to have an open mind however, you are one person. Some Others may not stress your Opinion and may want to know the on how it is and some quick pics to get a first idea on it. Even tho we have it i still see people without even the closes to the template OR Insane template. Meaning people aren't even looking at the Thread and just posting how they want to. Which the Testers Guild isn't for. We are organized and here to help the community, however if the poster(host) wont take the time to post pictures or add a description.

I strongly agree that Insane's template is needed and the template seems much more agreeable now with one. As stupid as that sounds. Taking 2 pictures and uploading them instead of one takes marginally more time but its the mindset of the thing. Its a lot more appealing to think of just one picture being nessecary. Hahaha good job TZ

What happens if I want people to test two versions of a map/gametype, but not set-up a time/date because I want the test to take place without me being there.

I think that perhaps you can have a series of members sign up for days to be a tester, then have people submit maps for those dates. This way, you already know you have the people... you just need the maps to test.

The system we have is fine, also for maps to want to test, but you wont be attending you could have a coordinated test. If so you need to talk to Whats A scope about it.

I think we need to add something to the template(s). If the NAT is known i would like to see that in a map post before signing up. Its a problem for a lot of people, my self included, and it would be really helpful if it was included.
