Turismo

Turismo

Hello all, I'm chung_wii here on FH, and I'd like to
introduce you to my new Halo 3 sandbox racetrack
named, "Turismo". I got the name from a car...
NOT THE GAME! This track is located in the
basement/crypt of sandbox. It features many twists
and turns, many small banked turns, 3 inverted turns
(w/ shield door assists), and also a couple down and
up hills. Every piece of this track has been interlocked,
insuring a safe, and bump free racing space. This track
has taken me about a month. I was about to finish
when school started, so, I waited til I was cumfy with
my new school, and then I started finishing the track.
I'd say it ended up well. I think my next track will be
MUCH better, but for a little crypt track, I think this
gets the job done. (This was not a money glitched
map, nor a stacked canvas map, I made due with
the regulations)

Anyways, Here are the pictures of the map...

Overview

My next track will hopefully be a big mid leval map.
See ya'll later!

Nice. It seems to go all right for not being in the skybubble. Congrats on this map, as it is satisfyingly long but not necessarily an easy course to slip off of. I thought I had seen this map before, but yours is different and better I should say. Expertly crafting, Nice overlapping design, this map is pretty sweet for a racemap. I also like the aesthetics and the arrow.

Can YOU beat it???

i think benzu was talking about another racetrack "fire and ice".

nice track, you've definitely got the asthetics down and the merging is baby-skin smooth. it looks pretty cramped at some parts, but at the same time you were able to fit the parts together with as limited space as possible. you have my download good sir

kudos for working in the crypt, the one annoying thing about the skybubble is: if you have too many people, mongooses fall often, and don't always blow up, making for long waits for a ride. If you left an opening to get back to the track, then good for you!

*jaw hits floor* how can there be a track seemingly this big in the crypt! deff d/l and you seem to have all the forging perfected. I would alter the finish personally if theres budget/objects as at the moment it is a sharp turn, possibly have a curve in there (just to make it a smoother entrance rather than a sharp drift-stop-go) and I do love the arrow.

Nice! I really like how it tilts so far to each side, and the blind hill reminds me of a roller coaster. The only thing that I see that might be a problem is where the loop reattaches to itself. It's making sort of a T shape, which could be a hard turn. Also, what happens if you fall off?

I believe the correct term is "pooned".

I often times speak without thinking. If you feel my post is derogatory please PM me.

I knew some people would think it is fishy, But I placed the destination point in an area that slows you down to just the right speed before the turn... You don't even have to stop or slow down, you just turn.

I placed at least 5-6 teleporters on the areas where people seem to fall off most often, and it is so intertwined that if you fall of, there is probably a teleporter right next to you.

WOW! good job nick! I love the huge bank towards the end. It is so smooth! The whole track is awesome! I like how it is a big track inside of such a small space! I'm surprised this isn't getting much buzz. This is ur best track so far. try to make a big mid level track next time or something huge.
