Cliffs of Dover

Cliffs of Dover

Ok, this is about two months old but I haven't posted it on FH and every other website is dead...
I set this up mainly for battletracks but has been in a few tourneys.
(Psssssssssst, go left at the beginning)

Pics:

Start:

Under start:

Aesthetic cliff, straight away:

After the cliff there are 2 quick turns then the start ramp:

The first of 2 long smooth rolling banks:

Transition in between the two rolling banks:

Second rolling bank:

A small scoop after the second bank:

Next is the plain old wall bank:

A clean drop after the wall bank:

After the drop there is a cool bridge hill and the finish:

This is probably the best track I've ever seen on Foundry (I've yet to play it, but the screenshots alone persuade me). I could never squeeze those huge pieces on Foundry (Thank Bungie for Sandbox!)

Don't advertise your map and don't use such large font...

The track looks great, a little short maybe, but I'll give it a forgethrough and edit my post if I'm wrong. Looks smooth and quick 8.5/10

I,too, have a racetrack map,The Blender. You should check it out (please.).

Wow, really? Don't advertise your maps. You can put it in your sig, but putting it in the post with huge font is just obnoxious and lame.

Well, this isn't the best race map I've seen on Foundry, but it looks pretty good. The interlocking is great, and the turns seem smooth and fun. Looks like a great battle tracks map. The beginning looks a little cramped, though, with only one path and tons of mongooses. If you could change that, possibly by extending the start, this would be even better.

EDIT: Definitely change the finish. It needs to be longer so that people can go through it at any part of the track.

Hey man this looks like a really nice race map it follows all of the "rules" lol... The banks looks smooth and quite fun and it looks uncheatable... I'll DL and give a better review after I see it and play it later =)

The one thing I would do is redesign is the nuclear reactor, I just don't like it, and there is probably a better way to do it. It's like the fine woman mentioned previously with an early case of herpes. Horrible, but curable.

Yeah, I was thinking of making a V2, then I started a really nice slayer map then I got sandbox and I think I'm just not gonna do it.

Before I further comment after I've played the map I have to ask this: In picture #8, if you fall off the track, can you get back on? It doesn't look like it to me, and you should consider making it so, because in battle tracks, it's more violent and you're more likely to get pushed off the edge. But from what I can tell with the pics, this map was very well made, looks smooth, and has a great layout. The name is kinda reminiscent of GH3, as well xD.

Looks like a nice map for foundry. I don't really see why you named it Cliffs of Dover. Those are white and nice looking, but foundry is ugly and gray & green lol. I like how there are longer streches of track unlike other foundry maps were there are mostly turns withouh much straitness. Does the track loop or is it just a one time around thing?
