I suggest playing the map you criticise before sounding like a complete idiot.
I was commenting on the smoothness of the lane that connects the start and the end of this track. It seems as though the drivers will be forced to make a sharp (thereby discontent) turn during each re-entry.

Uhh... no?

The ending turn after the finish line is as smooth as any other part of the track. There is no sharpness to this map whatsoever in terms of gameplay. Try racing on the map before making comments. Because right now, you are making yourself look like a complete dumbass.

Take some time to assess how most Halo 3 players do not have Sandbox.

I'm assuming that ShaddoBlade would have to shorten the length of the track if he decided to build it in the skybubble.

I retract my previous statement. Although you shouldn't comment, especially if it is of the critical nature, if you haven't played the map.

The re-entry point is the straightaway on the track that is bordered with teleporters where you re-enter the track if you fall off. You are talking about the turn adjacent to the beginning of the skytrack portion. You would only have to turn sharply here if you are neck and neck with someone. It is essentially a choke point, while remaining double-wide.

If you intentionally made this part challenging for some users, I reckon I should not argue. What bothers me though is that the residue of the track seems to be more suited for the casual type of player. I find it somewhat bothersome that there has to be a choke point within a course that remains smooth throughout. For this I have one question for you:

Is it really necessary?

Well, i wouldn't quite say i enjoy the map, i do love a good race, yet it seems like with all the smooth and simple racing maps out there this doesn't have origionality. Not to say it isn't good, you're a great forger don't get me wrong, it just needs to have something that says, I did something that nobody else did, rather than a basic track. I'll give it a 8/10 just try and make us wowed ya know. :)

I understand where you are coming from, but this track was made with the intention of being a straighforward racing track. Everything is up to player skill. There are no other variables, such as jumps, bumps, etc that may hinder the driver for no reason of their own. I wasn't trying to be original. I was going for the laid-back feel of a plain old racetrack.

Also, there are only so many things you can do with a racetrack. The ability to be original dwindles more each day. What can you include in a racetrack? You have turns, straightaways, hills, jumps, and scenery. Everything in a racetrack is either a variation or combination of these elements. As you can see, original racetracks are going to be few and far between, as there are only so many ways to vary/combine these ideas. Thanks for the comment, and I hope you enjoy my track despite it's "boringness"
