Yup that's right. I finally finished it completely. No more bugs to fix and no more final touches.

If you've ever played Mario Kart: Double Dash!! for Game Cube, then you already pretty much know what to expect. For those of you who haven't had the pleasure of playing it, it's the last track of the game. It includes jumps, turns, twists, and pretty much everything else! Of course I couldn't create an exact replica of the track, but I did my best and I believe the results are outstanding!
Here is what the original map looked like.

Although the map is very awesome looking though, don't think it's going to be all fun and games. It is an extremely hard track so you gotta know how to drive a mongoose/ghost like a pro. If you finish a lap without falling the first try I would be amazed.

But other than the difficulty, this track is very fun and can be cool with a lot of people. I made custom game types for the map ("100cc" and "150cc") which both offer different vehicles. 100cc makes it so the vehicles are mongooses, but 150cc makes it so they are ghosts. "Double Dash" could also work, but I would have to do some alterations (Which I probably will in the near future.) Once I fix it up for that game variant, I'll add it to this post.
Download "100cc"
Download "150cc"
All the pics you need are attached to the link above in the "File Set" (A new feature added to the community files on Bungie). If you have any questions other than "How teh *beep!* didz u d00 taht!?!?11one!1" then go ahead and post them here. If you have any problems with the map please let me know so I can see what I can do about it. (BTW to complete the first jump every time, hitting the booster is your best bet. If you don't hit the booster, your chances of making it across are good but not great.)

Soon I'll be putting together a small preview of the map on YouTube and when I do this spot will be taken up by it.

First off, great job. this is prbbly the first race map on blackout i've ever seen. I realize that it must've been pretty difficult to get everythng to stay together like that and I will DL and rate later.

Dang I really like this. I use to love to play Mario Kart and this was one of my favorite tracks. The post was very good too but you need to put some more pictures up. I would like to see more of your art work. It is even cool you made the Mario Kart Gametypes to go with it. I hope you make more Mario Kart maps in the future.

Downloaded!

5/5 since I just love this concept, the ideas, and your job on copying the map..
On the Spiral part, I would recommend man cannons and gravity lifts. Although I haven't played and you may have it, good job :D.

You need more pics. Its hard to tell much about the track.

However, the interlocked slope you created is very professional and I like how it is tilted in a little. This looks fun and challenging. I will DL and race my friend on it. We should have fun knocking eachother off the track!

Holy Crap. This is awesome. This was my absolute favorite map in mario kart, which was my absolute favorite game. I'm so glad to see this, more maps from that game would be sweet.

You realize that Rainbow Road was on the original Mario Kart, right?

Now you can see the whole map in one pic, but in no absolute way can I see details! Hint hint, more pics! This map looks good and the fact that you can fall to your death just adds a little more excitement to it! I like the layout of the track and the forging design of the map! Good job, but next time a better post of your map!

This looks really good. I have played Mario Kart, and Rainbow Road is the hardest level. Your map looks great. It just looks like a ton of work went into it. It's really harde doing the floating, so I think this is an amazing job. 5/5!

Yea I'm now trying to make "Sherbert Land" on Avalanche. It's barely started, but it'll get there :D
