Quake Island
Created by x DREAM 76 x

Supported game variant: Battle Tracks
Recommended Players: 8-16

Enormus island battle track w/ earthquakes! Recent seismic activity has the natives of paradise island living in fear.. Made by the Battle Tracks head mapmakers team.
Here is my new track that took two days to make and test. It is the second map in the island series. This time the island is invaded by earthquakes and aftershocks! Enjoy this wild ride with a few friends. Thanks to all the key members of the group for all the great input! See you on the track.
How do I host a Battle Tracks? Simple, find a bunch of people who want to play.. A good start is at least six to eight players. Basically three or four teams. It's nice to have eight teams but three to four is a good start..Have everyone in the room find a partner that they want to race with. Everyone will be in a team of two. Next instruct the rule that there is NO KILLING until the second lap. This simple rule basicaly gives everyone time to get going and makes the race more exciting. That is basically it! May the best team win.. Battle Tracks is about racing and killing. Some times you want to be racing and some times you want to be killing. It is a delicate balance. The team that works best together will come out ahead in points. As host look out for players that are no longer playing at the starting area. In other words if you see that a player is inactive, then boot them out of the party. The reason for this is so spawn campers don't get free points for killing an enemy that is no longer playing. That is basically it! The rest is all about exciting and brutal racing!

Congrats for making an awesome map
My problem with it is the fact that it will be almost impossible to get in a party where nobody shoots for the first lap

-You could probably work out a system with custom power ups in which they let you get to the mongeese as well as making you invincible and deal no damage for around the amount of time it takes to complete a lap.

Do you get me?

This looks like a good race track.... smooth and it looks a bit different but it also look quite small and i would give it about a 8.5/10 .... good luck with your next map

this looks like a pretty sweet map. I'm gonna download and try it, then i'll rate it.

EDIT: I like it! If I remember correctly, it's pretty short, but that's really the worst part. 4.5/5

This is a very good race track, it is very well put together and I cannot find a single place that is not smooth enough to drive over, and everything looks so perfectly lined up. This is a definite gametype I will be pulling out when some buddies and I are looking for a good time.

Having the teleporters on the goal point was a great idea to prevent people from simply walking over and getting the points. Also using the teleporters as arrows to show which way to go was a great idea.

I was going to say you should add some weapons to the map such as a needler, but I then saw that you infact had some weapons scattered about.

Overall, this is a great map that I see myself and friends having many great nights with. 9.5/10

I do get you.. I thought about that same idea a long time ago. Unfortunately it's not possible. There are only four custom power ups available at any one time. There is no way to stop people from killing on the first lap. It is an honnor rule. We always let everyone know the rules right before we start a big race. If they don't listen then I just boot them from the party. Thanks for the comment. How do you like the track?
