Mode:  Mad Max

This is a game/map for folks that both like to race AND those that don't like to race.  There are no honor rules to worry about, lots of weapons and vehicles are available....a team can choose to race to the goal points or pick off the racers from a strategic position....points awarded for both kills and reaching the goals as the VIP.

The VIP has a forced color of black....and his gang turns black also once in the 10m proximity to the VIP:

Teams 1 through 4 (Warthog teams) start atop the center structure:


Teams 5 and 6 start just below the others:

The "race" is a battle to reach the goal points (that rotate counter clockwise around the map):

All the goal points are located in the "outer rim" of Sandtrap:

Watch out for mortars while racing:

If your VIP get's killed, you are dead in the water...either from opponents:

Or from the Guardian's Mortars:

Even though all vehicle spawns are set to the fastest, occasionally a fracas breaks out while teams wait for a ride:


You spawn with a random secondary weapon, as well as having a few to pick up at the starts, some prefer to ride "shotgun":

VIP Traits:
- Damage Modifier - 25% (VIP should be driver)
- Primary Weapon - Rocket Launcher
- Secondary Weapon - Random
- Shields/Health - 200% Recharge Rate
- Speed - 125%
- Vehicle Use - Full Use
- Sensors - Enhanced 75m
- Forced Color - Black
VIP Proximity Traits:
- Proximity - 10m
- Damage Modifier - 100%
- Shields/Health - 150% Damage resistance / 110% Recharge Rate / 10% Leech
- Speed - 125%
- Vehicle Use - Full Use
- Sensors - Enhanced 150m
- Forced Color - Black

The 25% Damage modifier is used to "encourage" protection of the VIP and preferably, racing to the goal points.  The VIP is best suited as driver, considering he/she must make those goals and damage is only 25% for the VIP, thus the 1 point bonus for "kills as VIP."  The black forced color is in homage to the gangs of ruffians from the Film "Mad Max" and "Road Warrior."

Thanks for d/l'ing....please let me know what you think. I am working on a second "figure-8" style track for this mode...just need to tweak the spawns a bit.
