Mongoose 500

Mongoose 500
By HumBoys

Hey All! So, this is my first race map to post, but I think it turned out pretty well. This map Has effective spawn placement, TONS of interlocking, and a box interlocked with the crane. There was absolutely no reason for this, but I did it anyway, just for giggles. I will provide the links at the bottom, so if it excites you already and you want to download without looking at the pictures, go ahead.

Now, on to the Pictures!

This is the spawn area. It has eight mongooses. You cannot see the starting points right now, but they are positioned to the left and behind each mongoose. If you are unlucky enough to die, you will respawn at any of the four spawnpoints above the vehicles.

This is the starting bridge. After going up the stairs at the starting area, you will go over this bridge and into the center of the track oval.

This is the area directly after the starting bridge. After going over the bridge, you go into this turn.

These are the mancannons after the turn after the starting bridge. (Confusing, huh?) They are positioned so that it is impossible to drive back into this area, but you can walk directly into it with ease. To tell the truth, this was completely unintentional. It just worked out that way.

This is the first turn that is actually on the racetrack Pretty straightforward, there is a shield door to assist lazy turners.

This is the ramp going up on to the destination point for the race track.

This is the destination point. Going through this point as a human results in death, because the teleporters teleport you out of the map. This results in the deduction of one lap. But you deserve it for trying to cheat, right? The ramp is there so people do not go back and forth through it to score points. The mancannons are in position so one cannot hang around and score points without doing a lap, and to make sure you don't accidentally go on top of the starting bridge again.

This is the area under the starting bridge, after the destination point. There are signs interlocked with the stairs to tell you where to go, but you already knew that, right?

This is the turn after the area under the starting bridge. Pretty self explanatory, huh? Again, there is a shield door to assist lazy turners.

This is the final turn that I have not explained, with a shield door interlocked into the fence, as with all of the other corners.

This is an overview of the top.

I just had to include this. It does count as one of the easter eggs I mentioned, though. It is a tribute to the game vents, and is also the reason your pit crew isn't helping. They're playing forklift soccer!

The Gametype information: Normal, racing gametype. Normal speed, high gravity (heavy) pistols only, limited ammo. anyone can use vehicles, including VIP's.
Note: you can only reach the point once every ten seconds, or else cheating (getting more than 1 point per lap) is possible.
Fun fact: It only took me around 6 hours to make!

Bonus points for finding the other two easter eggs! (No, you don't ACTUALLY get anything for finding them.)

Still, no one has replied about the easter eggs! (you need the gametype to see one of them)

same here. looks excellent. really smooth looking great anticheat methods, very professional looking too. the signs merged with the stairs are cool, funny and they look very professional, overall this looks extremely professional even though i didn't want to use that word again.

great job!

P.S. nice idea with the easter eggs, those are always fun.

Thank you for the feedback. I'm not old enough to have a job, so I'm not sure if this can really be 'professional'. (lol)
