MLG Stasis


Download MLG Stasis

Probably the hardest map I've ever had the pleasure of working on. Designed for short, mid and, long range play-styles while giving up little advantage to any specific one. Currently supports MLG Team Slayer & MLG Flag.

Weapons:

4 - BR - 0:10 - 2 Clips
2 - Carbine - 0:45 - 2 Clips
2 - Mauler - 2:30 - 0 Clips
4 - Plasma Grenades - 0:30
4 - Frag Grenades - 0:45
1 - Custom Power Up - 2:00

Shout out to Twisted Lyfe & Sozer for map concepts.

I'm on the testers guild, and I tested your map with 7 different friend, and then 3 so I did a 4v4 Slayer and KOTH and a 2v2 Slayer and KOTH Here are my evaluations:
What I like:
-
1 Aesthetics on this map are amazing
-
2 Map isn't Over weighed on either side
-
3 It isn't hard to find your way around
-
4 Not to many power weapons


What I Dislike
-1 The spawns arent the greatest
-Not really any cover in the middle piece

Suggestions
-For spawns put more than one spawn point by itself at least put 2 next to each other, but don't put one by itself.
-Add a little bit more scenery to the map, specifically towards the open part by the middle piece

On a final note I think the map should be and will be an 9/10, gameplay went pretty well, but not as well as it could've, this map has a lot of potential, just make those little adjustments and this map will be at it's fullest potential.

I have updated the map, but have yet to majorly touch down on the issues stated above. I hope you enjoy it none the less and I will continue to progress on this map until it is a 10/10

This middle will be quite hard to understand through the pictures. I assure you the concept is simple good looking and easy to navigate.

This is one of the sweetest MLG maps I've ever seen...period. This is featureworthy. Must I go on? Okay, I will.

The concept of it is pretty neat, with the map divided in half and the touches in elevation are done in perfect harmony. You get a 9/10 from the concept. The design of it is perfect. Every single object on this map serves a purpose, and that is awesome. Not only is everything assorted to be a blast gameplaywise, but you also made it look cool! Your design hands down gets a 10/10. And your crafting skills are just as good. Every object is perfectly interlocked, and I'm sure that there are no flaws in this map. You used crafting to such a high caliber that I can see that certain parts of the map follow identical degrees and whatnot. Overall this map deserves nothing less than a 10/10. This totally doesn't even look like it came from forge, it's that good. This deserves a feature and a bungie's favorite and a spot in matchmaking.

This is by far one of the best responses I've received on a map so far. A lot of work from a lot of forgers went into making this map and it is awesome to be it being appreciated. Thanks for the awesome post.

Ignore the newfag. Nice map man, ill give a dl and get back to you but looking at the screenies the aesthetics are hawt and the forging looks flawless. Do get a v2 in the works, work on cover and spawns as others mentioned and submit to atlas..
