Titanous Beta

Download

Titanous is a 3 base map that has inspiration from Sanctuary. It is a coforged map between me and BFP Sticky v3. I got the idea to make a 3 base from Baron AJ's map Zenith and forged one since they are relatively unexplored territory.

The map consists of 2 symmetrical bases in the back corners and a massive Sanctuary esque 3rd base. This is a beta so the spawns are still iffy but slayer plays fantastic and has been tested extensively. ZoroSeerus will be helping me and Sticky with spawns.

Rocks spawn top mid by the vertical wall. Plasma pistol spawns below yellow. Custom powerup spawns 150 seconds into the game at white base.

Weapons include:
7 BRs
2 carbs
1 PP
1 rockets (0 spare clips, 180 second drop spawn)
4 frags
2 plasmas
1 custom powerup (150 second respawn, not spawn at start)

Gametypes:
MLG TS (plays best)
MLG Pit KOTH (spawns are iffy)
MLG Neutral Bomb (very fun but spawns need work)

Now for the pics!

Blue base

Red base

Inside base

White base

Back white base

Yellow

Below yellow

Rock/Bottom mid

Carb

Court

Special thanks to BFP Sticky v3, thanks for the ideas for mid and the side walkways and offering to coforge this map with me. I am happy to have forged this with you!

My maps-
Archaic- An MLG 2 floor semi enclosed asymmetrical map positioned in Sandbox's skybubble. Forged by HezbollaHector and Goatnutts420. Now with more feature!

Titanous v1- Finally done! White base has been raised, the middle lowered, and cover issues have been taken care of. Play it the way it was meant to be!

Titanous Beta- Test version of the above map. By BFP Sticky v3 and HezbollaHector.

Lateralus- A coforged, asymmetrical, objective focused map that took over 2 months to create.

wow, nice map. the geomerging is excellent and looks fun on slayer. but a couple of things you must do to your post.

list what gametypes are supported and list the traits of the custom powerup. also, if there is a gametype that goes with this map, you should post that here too. i am assuming there is, judging from the powerup.

nice job with the layout, it flows really well and its different from the usual midship style. the spawns are well done as well. the only thing i think this map needs is more cover by the bottom corner in the last pic. it seems like a dumpster would fit in really well there.

my  maps

panoramic* = testing

Um I'm guessing from the layout and weapon list that this is probably MLG? But ya, the custom powerup looks like it'd be a 2 layer OS like usual

The map looks amazing though. Maybe show some of the staring spawns if it is MLG just so we can get an idea of the flow of the gameplay once the game has started. One thing I'm a little concerned about is the proximity of the rockets to the CP. Isn't that pretty unfair? OS and rockets together can spell disaster for the opposing team.

Just a couple questions:
Are the rockets on drop spawn?
and Is there any particular reason you chose to include a Plasma Pistol?

Great map, very good interlocking and merging, seems like a unique MLG map.

Weapon placement seems pretty balanced and original bases.

4/5 :)

If a team is controlling white base (the strongest part of the map) for a good period of time the custom will spawn closely to them. Since this map is relatively small a custom with 2 layers OS might seem a bit overpowered but it has been balanced with rockets that include 2 bullets and a plasma pistol. The plasma pistol was included because we felt that just 2 bullets of a rocket was a good counter to the custom, but still not enough. As you probaly know the plasma pistol has the capability of completely removing shields of any kind instantly if fully charged and aimed correctly. Now, if you're team was getting wrecked by the team controlling white base and maintaining control of the custom. Your team would spawn in either red/blue base which both have easy access to the plasma pistol and rocket launcher to counter this. I hope this answered your question and thanks for the feedback; And yes, the rockets are infact on drop spawn.

I didnt mention mlg in the post because its clearly in the mlg map section so i didnt think anyone would need clarification...

I didnt take pics with spawns because people tent to look down upon them. Starting spawns are at the second floor of the red and blue bases.

Yes rocks are drop spawn. Rocks and os dont cause a problem, this map hass been tested a couple dozen times and no one complained about their placement. Also the plasma pistol at bottom yellow is there to counter os.

Hey snail, i havent talked to you in a while. Next time you get on ill be sure to invite you, i wanna see what your working on.

And raging we need to set up a time for us to meet up online because every time i get on you get off lol.
