*Now with nicely updated links!
As you can see this is indeed another MLG map but please don’t leave yet! Just look it over before you dismiss this into the depths of the bottomless pit that is MLG maps. I have taken it upon myself to make this map as different from other MLG maps as possible while still embodying the spirit of competitive play. Plus I have loads of pictures (yay!) I actually exceeded the picture limit at first and as a result I have removed the Action Pictures, hopefully this won’t discourage anyone, I assure you that this map is bundles of fun.
So this is my very first competitive map, actually it’s my first map intended for regular Halo play. My only other one was a mini-game map. This map is designed with MLG gametypes in mind: most importantly MLG TS and MLG CTF (the Onslaught variant works very well).
NOTE: Before I get flamed or worse by anyone, I did use the wall and crane-covers from Onslaught. I do not, in any way, take credit for those features.
This map is a 2-based symmetrical map with another 2 unique bases on either side. All of the colouring is consistent with that of Onslaught and Amplified to make it easier for players to familiarize themselves with the map. Weapons include
BRs,
Carbines, and a single
Mauler in the centre (as well as the standard
frags and
plasmas).

This map encourages fast-paced play and crushes those who do not react fast enough. Get to the high ground quick of face defeat. In
both Team Slayer and
Capture the Flag, the
high ground is key. Spawn trap mercilessly from above while your teammates run the flag home for a capture. Tides will turn quickly if you are not careful, stay on your toes. If you find yourself on ground-level, you might have a problem. Although cover is plentiful, you can’t help your team if you are pinned down.
This is my first map featuring gemomerging (second map altogether) so if it looks a little off that’s why although I spent tons of time trying to make the seams perfect. As you may be able to see in the pictures I started off simple by merging an open box into the ground, and then I moved onto walls. The main bases were my last project (although my first idea) and thus are the most ambitious use of geomerging in the map. Interlocking is used to smooth out certain areas which would otherwise be rough and bumpy and to otherwise make the map look aesthetically pleasing. Last but not least I added in the tele-writing as a personal touch, which barely affects gameplay but if for some reason you dislike it (or it deflects your grenades back at you [which rarely happens, it’s never happened to me in a real game]) feel free to delete it (I won’t be angry at all, just don’t save it and call it yours), although I’m pretty sure that no one has ever even noticed it until I pointed it out to them.
Without further ado, PICTURES!!!!!
