Globo Gym (Dodgeball)


Globo Gym

This is a dodgeball map I created in about 2 days. The floor is kinda bumpy and I dont know why. I had it smooth but then i saved it and it changed so i apologize.


Overall View of the Map

Same on Each Side



Grenades (Plasma-16 Spike-16) Same on Each Side




There is no way for either team to get to the opposite teams side. If you try to jump through the middle you will fall and die. Everyone has swords so there is no distance killing. What happens when you enter the hill is as soon as you jump in your gravity is increased and you plummit to your death. If you have any other questions i will be sure to answer them as soon as possible. ( I just recently updated it so that the hill is no longer in your way of seeing. If you would like to re-download go right ahead)

Walls always get bumpy after saving the map.

I have one question about the map, why is there a hill in the middle? Higher gravity? If yes, why dont you just make the gap bigger ^^

And what about your gametype, tell us something about it ^^

The hill in the middle immediantly increases the gravity so you get pulled into the death barrier. The gap is just the right size. Definite DL from me. Reminds me of a map just like this except it was on foundry. Ill edit l8r after trying this out.

EDIT: Just finished playing it and its awesome! Probably best dodgeball map for me so far! I love the the two ledge in the back of each side. It's like impossible to cross over to the other side cause of the gravity when you enter the hill. wow!

SUGGESTION: Make it your own and add something others don't have and your map would be perfect.

Nice dodgeball map, but I think it would be so easy for someone to just sit behind one of the obstacles? This map also looks escapable, allowing someone to cross over to the other side. I like the idea in use for the death barrier. It is very original. I haven't seen it before.

The map looks good compared to other dodgeball maps i have seen. Good hill idea, lots of people dont use that. A little bit more of information on the map would be nice, what does the hill actually do? And does only a stick kill?

All the hill does is give you negative points and as soon as you enter the hill the gravity increases making you fall to your death.

Hey this look cool! You did the same thing as my dodgeball SL, and i got to say, that hill barrier thing is pretty clever, so good job. I can say first hand that dodgeball is a kinda fun, but definatly competitive game. (when done right, those ones that use the teleporters or other shit to devide the field are lame)

Do you want be to add globo gym to the map list here? (edit) Alright, it's added!

Sure id love to add it to that list. I didnt know you had one. When you made those two dodgeball maps i thought it was the best idea I'd seen. And your right about the teleports i hate when people do that.
