i love the idea of this map, i've dl-ed it and it's really fun to play on your own, you should make it on sandbox i think, then you ould make your on scenery for it and also u could use the golf ball to make it harer because its bigger, keep up the good work :)

Wow this is an amazing idea and I now must accept your challenge. Every single one. Thanx. But seriously your idea for this kind of map (idk what to call it really) is just as inventive as we will now have to be to complete your challenges. I will try and spread this around to some friends to get some challenges going. If you have mythic i would do orbital next, if not I would do the pit.

Edit:

sorry but i think that would be far too easy on sandbox other maps with smaller more creative objects would push the creativity required to further heights in my opinion though sandtrap would be quite a challenge as well however the use of drop pods might make it too easy..

Thankyou everyone for your lovely comments.

I'll begin work on The Pit and try to find some fun places to get the ball into.

The Pit will be significantly harder. It lacks useful items like Radio Antennas, Heavy Boxes, and Warthogs, and is generally more enclosed. With only 4 Grav Lifts, some clever contraptions would be needed to move the ball across the map... I like it!

You could use a pit map with the transport hog moved into the center area its not a mod and could be helpful in building contraption but leaving it out would cause others to create more creative contraptions so whether or not you decide to use this idea is up to you.

You should make your own location on top of some held down crates to get the ball to or even harder would be to get the ball all the way up to the room with the sliding jackle targets oh the difficulty of it all, you could have it just right but the unforgiving jackle goalie comes out of nowhere and shuts you down. Ouch.

Lots of people talked about trying this out...has anyone done anything with it yet?

I'd like to see some creative designs by other people.

Looks fun, just downloaded and have nothing better to do since my live ran out. I do suggest that you rank the gametypes by dificulty though, with one always being easiest, and others being harder.

I like your use of most all the different gametypes to create multiple levels. That makes the idea seem rather well developed somehow compared to if you had only used one destination area.

I can almost entirely assure you of one thing though, the blight of Forge Pong. This will not catch on with the larger community. People seem to mostly be of few types: Competitive, Minigame, Puzzle, and a range between. Your idea is extraneous to most all people, save for the few, such as me, who take great interest in Crayon Physics and Fantastic Contraption-like puzzles, where one must build their way through the map. If this does catch on, I'll give you the Congratulatory Cookie. Don't take my word for it though.
Hmmmm, actually "Fantastic Contraption" would be a much better name for this. Because this really does remind me of that game.

This map is amazing, i will start making contraptions soon. And i think it would be a challenge to make new pong maps on maps with built in contraptions such as Valhalla's mancannons, using them with forge items could be another way to get the ball to its marker.
One question can you post screenshots of you contraption?

No forging is currently getting done on the map
i am constructing due to my addiction to
Modern Warfare 2

Sure by all means. I'm actually very interested in seeing what the community can conjur up.

If enough like it I might submit it to Bungie's news feed
