Escape Town

Escape Town

Town is a puzzle map I made when I didnt have live so some things are somewhat lazy put together but it doesnt really matter that much with a puzzle map. Town is one of my hardest puzzle maps I have ever created. It challenges you for many things.

When you get out of the manshion I would advise to look for 2 items that you will need to get to the end. Have FUN!

Just posted the gametype sorry for not having it up at the begining...

Can you please add more pics to show which room goes in which order so people know if they are doing something correct or doing it wrong. So far looks okay, don't see many puzzles from the pics but i'll DL and check it out!

Also, don't link to your fileshare, link to the actual map and gametype(if there is one)

Pics don't give away the puzzle unless the puzzle is a instant thing to figure out and its way easy.

You need to link to the map AND the gametype.

Looks good and unique...i know i have seen other puzzle maps but this one is different. you have to escape a building first then you have to escape the rest of the town. not bad at all. 4/5

oh and i have to agree with xdhxhavoc that if you show to much of the map it can ruin the surpise of the puzzle and if you want to know what it looks like just download the tut and do that.

The pics don't have to show the puzzles themselves, or provide any hints to solving the puzzles if you don't want them to. But it can be useful to show the order in which we can expect to find the puzzles, e.g. which is puzzle 1, which is puzzle 2, e.t.c.

My logic for this is that some people, such as myself, have a tendancy to solve the puzzles in a way that the author did not intend. This may result in puzzles being skipped or leaving the confines of the map altogether. Without knowing the general "Path" of the map, it can be difficult to realise that one is not proceesing through the map in the intended manor.

As the author, you could simply retort with "Well don't break the map, foo'!" The problem is, that sometimes it is not obvious that you've broken the map when the goal of the map is simply to make it to the end by any means possible. By at least showing us the "Path" to that goal, we know whether we've deviated from it.

The first ever puzzle map that you play in Forge.
