Hello Everyone,
So this is my 100th post and I wanted to do something different, I wanted to thank the community for my time here. So here it is my official first installment in my Mini Game Map Pack series. I spend most of my time in forge creating mini games, so I’ve assembled 3 objective based mini games that all require NO HONOR RULES. Enjoy!

Ever had a dispute with your friend over who is the better shot or perhaps who should have first dibs on the sniper in matches? Well now there is a civilized way to settle these disputes. Shooting Range is the first competitive shooting range map that requires no honor rules. The game is played as a capture the hill map, players are split into two teams and spawn in their own respective boxes.
The objective of the game is very simple, shoot down any on coming fusion coils…
As they are launched from these ramps…
Before they hit and wipe you and/or your teammates. If your team fails to shoot down a fusion coil and gets wiped, you respawn shortly after. However, during the time you are dead the other team is scoring uncontested points for being in the hill that engulfs both boxes.
An additional perk of this game is you can easily modify the gametype to unlimited score and just practice alone or with others on your aim with the BR and sniper (even no scopes).

Joust or more generically yet appropriately named ‘Sumo’ is a completely outrageous FFA king of the hill game. The game is set in an enclosed square, at the bottom of this square are dozens of fusion coils awaiting your unfortunate arrival and at the top there is a floating square platform. The players are launched from mid way up the outside of the square up onto the platform via evenly placed man cannons. With hammer in hand, players attempt to push their fellow competitors off of the platform into their upending doom. To prevent this from being an all out slaughterhouse, I have enabled player invincibility while on the hill and for 5 seconds after they respawn. The score plays up to 150 but I recommend adjusting it lower for more people and higher for less. Also note it is possible to relaunch yourself back off the man cannon if you get knocked off the platform, so never lose hope.

The map Vredefort gets its name from the largest impact crater on earth. The idea for the map came originally from tower of power on Halo 2. The major difference here is rather than attempting to hold to high ground the turret is placed at the bottom of an enormous crater. What sets this map even further apart from other tower of power remakes is that the turret cannot be detached or destroyed. This is done by slightly lifting the floor and locking an unmovable warthog under it. This allows me to make the turret rotate 360 degrees and use a gauss turret. The game can be played in a number of ways as well, the game type included is set up for Team Slayer but you could easily turn Teams off and play FFA. It also works with king of the hill game types.
The game starts off much like tower of power, players form teams (2 is preferred but the map can handle more), have shotguns, no grenades, and no shields. In the beginning they spawn at their own respective sides of the crater and bum rush the turret. The teams can run down the hill under limited cover in an attempt to take the advantage post in the center. There is one other way to get into the center of the crater other than walking down the hill, there are 4 man cannons placed around the outside of the map. Each one is aimed at the custom power up floating up in the air above the turret in the middle of the map. Attempting this launch can be very dangerous when you’re team does not control the turret and makes you an easy target. The reward is very worth it though, this custom power up gives you very high damage resistance for 4 second, just enough time to help you drop down and clean out the turret area for you and your team. After the initial starting points the respawn points are random, this way one team can’t anticipate the next spawn and to prevent blatant spawn camping I’ve placed a 2 second invincibility time after respawn. The score plays to 50 but feel free to adjust it as you see fit.
PLEASE NOTE: There is a minor glitch with this map; when you’re in the center of the map you can get into the drivers and passenger seat of the warthog. This does not really affect the game what-so-ever though because you can still be hijacked to death and the warthog isn’t going anywhere. (basically: avoid doing this because it’s an instant death sentence)
I hope all of you like these map and I’m looking forward to any kind of feedback.
