Bowling (6-Pin) with Scoring

So you've seen the other bowling maps right?...
They're kinda cool for like a minute....
Then you move on.....

Inspired by the bad bowling maps,
I came up with something original that hasn't been done yet...
At least I don't think it has... not quality like this at least...

Bowling with scoring!
You can either play against all your friends ffa
or you can group up for some team bowling.

How you bowl:
Just push the ball down the lane as fast as you can get it going

When it's your turn next:
Shoot the ball against the back wall with your brute shot (only takes a few seconds)

How exactly does it keep score?
a) You grab the flag for each point you earned while bowling (team)
b) You hold the oddball for each point you earned while bowling (ffa)

But wait, who goes first?
Simple. You will notice red and blue power-ups when you spawn.
Call either red or blue.
Walk through the teleporter in the middle.
If you were correct, you go first (or your team)
Or you can just go in alphabetical order...

Anyway, about the map... It isn't the most original map there is. i've seen this a lot, but with more pins. The ball return is cool, but i've seen it before. If only some pins fall over, and you shoot the ball with the brute shot, how to you get the same pin config bacK? I don't know, you may have too many working part and stuff that may make gameplay a little difficult or frustrating. Rating: 3.5/5. Hope to see some more stuff from you! Keep on Forging!

it's quite simple how it works really, i'll give an example of how to play:

I call red and walk through the teleporter. It's red. I get to go first. Everyone rides up the man cannon to the alley. Whoever isn't bowling needs to jump to somewhere high (the walls are lowered so it's easy) to get out of the way. Everyone is out of the way. I run up to the ball as fast as I can and as straight as I can and melee the ball. It knocks over 5 pins, shucks... I only get one shot (this makes it harder). So I turn around, walk into the scoring room and hold the oddball for 5 seconds and then press Y to drop it or pick up the flag 5 times, depending on whether I'm playing team or ffa. While I'm scoring, everyone else can reset the ball and pins by shooting with their brute shots. If they're lazy ho's though, I can just reset it when I get back from scoring. No biggie, only takes a few seconds. There's grav lifts and man cannons at the end to help the ball enter the return. When the ball comes back up the return, the next person goes. As far as scoring goes, make whatever rules up that you want. My friend and I played by rules once that we had to gain a 6 point lead (a strike more than the other person) and have at least 100 points. We had fun that game and I beat him 100 to 94 after we had both taken our turns. You may say it's "crappy" and that it's "just like all the others". That's your opinion. But in my opinion, your opinion sucks and you're just making it because you're tired of bowling maps. But that's just my opinion...

It's pretty fun resetting the pins and ball manually: you're not just pushing a ball around the whole game, you're also shooting at stuff for a purpose. I don't know, I think it's fun, but you're entitled to your opinion. I do recommend that you download this though and play it with a friend or two before you say it's like all the others. Trust me, it's the best pure bowling map so far.

Now this looks like major honor rules! Also I think you should go with something more original next time. Another thing is that I do like the original scoring/gameplay. Just not the idea of BOWLING again and again.

yes, this looks too reliant on the honor rule :/. but if you got some trustworthy friends and played it, it looks like it would be fun.

good thing you said all that because it explains how to play the game a lot better. it sounds really cool and fun, must've took some thinking to do, but yeah there is that "honesty" aspect to it (as some other guy mentioned) because someone could ruin the game couldn't they? it seems like if someone wanted to they could keep adding their points. of course u could do that in real life if u kept track on paper, w/e right? but sure if you play it right then it sounds awesome and fun for everyone! nice job!
(edit:) Oh by the way i think it'd be cool to have a gravity hammer to hit the ball with if it'd work out :)
