Halls of Choice

Halls of Choice

A test of brains and will power...

Base: ___-.Foundry

Supported Gametypes:

  • Choices...

Description:

I created this map out of boredom, but it became something great. It is a sort of course that has 4 stages of difficult puzzles to complete in order to move on. I tried to make it pretty hard, including several false passages and places where you must go back and try another way.

I hope you enjoy this map, and please offer up some comments/suggestions after you have tried out the map.

*note* this map only supports 4 people at a time, and you must be on the same team (You can also go it alone on this map)...

Forging 101:

[ YES ] __Floating Objects
[ YES ] __Instant Respawn
[ YES ] __Immovable Objects
[ YES ] __Timed Map Events
[ YES ] __Effective Spawn Placement
[ ___ ] __Gravity Lift Techniques
[ ___ ] __Objects Placed in Water
[ ___ ] __Used Symmetry Option
[ YES ] __Interlocking Objects
[ ___ ] __Objects Merged with Map Geometry
[ ___ ] __Unlimited Budget Glitch

This looks ok but seems a little short. I could say though that it has some good interlocking but at the same time some pictures looks like it is a little sloppy but otherwise it looks ok.

I dont know, 4 seems plenty for a puzzle map...at least for me... I dont make it a habbit to interlock everything in sight, only what is needed. As for the pictures, yeah...I had a hard time trying to get the right angle as to not give anything away, plus it kind of gets cramped in those tight spaces, so I cant shoot a masterpiece screenshot. Thanks for your comments, and I hope you try out my map...

i didn't see the grave lift technique in that map and also i would add more pictures because it looks way to short but it does look cool

Generally for the better maps, almost everything must merged.

Map looks nice, but are those teles set up on the same channel? or have they been set up with thought rather than luck?
What exactly is the prize, just some weapons placed to resemble the word win?

What are the puzzles, or is it just luck that you happen to go through the sender at the right time?

The teleporters are well thought out, and are in no way random... I dont know what you mean by "prize" other than the word win, as I cant give you something in game for beating this...its just for fun...
