Description:
You've seen it on TV, now play it yourself from the comfort of your couch! This minigame is based off of, and almost identical to the game assault on American Gladiators. One person spawns on the floor, and the other spawns next to an immovable gauss turret. The gunner simply has to shoot and kill the guy running around on the floor. The runner has to make it to each station, where he can find a plasma grenade to try and stick the gunner's hog.

The runner has 110% resistance to damage and 4x overshields. The gunner has 10% resistance to damage and moves very slow with high gravity to keep him from escaping.

This map also includes a set of spectator boxes so you can play with up to 8 people, and the game automatically gives everyone equal turns. Just remember that each person has to be on their own team, and you need to set the rounds to a multiple of the number of people you're playing with. That means:
2 people-2, 4, 6, 8, or 10 rounds
3 people-3, 6, or 9 rounds
etc...

Default is 2 rounds for 2 people.

As the gunner, you receive 2 points for killing the runner.
As the runner, you receive 1 point for making it to each station, and 10 points for eliminating the gunner.

UPDATE: Instead of fence walls which were dividing people who were spectating, there are regular walls to prevent people from killing other spectators.

Nice job, never saw the show but I have seen the soup make fun of it. Nice job on the turret, I think I have seen this idea before but done completely differently I like your version better.

I love that show as a kid and teen. I have the American gladiator video game for the old NES system actually and that game was and still is my favorite out of all of them.

well done for creating this :) 5/5 for nostalgia.

That is neat. Ever thought about expanding it so there are 2 teams? Like 4 gunners and 4 runners at the same time?

Edit: I might use your map as inspiration for something like that.. I'm picturing hills and trenches. If it works, I'll be sure to give you kudos :)

Okay, so I was playing with a huge party and while we were in the spectators' box, some of my friends started killing each other through the fence boxes. So as a result, they would get points. Is there a way you could fix that? Thanks

Nevermind. My friends pointed out that we lost points. Well, now that that's settled, great map and variant!
