El Congelador

Venture through life-threatening puzzles to be reunited with Fred the Pure Form. Plays with the "Cold Sores" Gametype. This was made by HaIoFighter92 and Mutantkilla.

El Congelador, which is Spanish for "The Freezer", is our first puzzle map. Despite it being our first, I would consider to be pretty challenging. El Congelador is a Cold Storage puzzle. We noticed that the majority of puzzle maps take place on Foundry, so we thought it would be a good idea for players to solve puzzles in a new environment. It is designed so that one person can complete it, but we made it good enough so having more people doesn't help at all. Enjoy!

I will post a video walkthrough if a lot of people are having a hard time.

Here are some pictures and hints/riddles, but let me say that there are a few misleading objects in this map:

What goes up shouldn't come down

You can has blocked teleporter

What's that noise down here?

Two times the fun, one just won't do

"In lay man's terms, speedy thing goes in, speedy thing goes out" -Glados (from Portal)

"Mommy, I can't see. The Sun's in my eyes"

Reunited at last

Hope you had fun!

it was a bit challenging because there aren't that many things we can do with cold storage, but it only took us a day and i thought it came out to be pretty good. Let me know how it is after you play it.

Yeah, HF92 here, the other jerk who helped make the map. Nice to see someone who'll try it out. Recommend anything you want. We still technically have room for another puzzle(curved hallway from spawn room to main). I hope you enjoy it.

Depends what you call as puzzles. There are around 8-9 challenges. Figure out time is how well you play through it. So I suppose you can make some pretty good speed runs on it.

I ran through it in about 4 min 50 seconds. but i already knew where everything was. I cant really tell how long it would take someone to do it. We've had to kinda help our beta testers lol. you can set the bar!

LOLz those were some interesting words. Im the kind of person who likes those fancy maps with the floating and interlocking. But even though you used simple stuff, it looks pretty cool and fun to play on. 4/5 keep forging.

I don't understand. So it's a puzzle?

Very clever name to say the least, yes I speak spanish... un poco espanol...

It looks like fun, but looks kind of simple, which isn't necessarily good for a puzzle map. I would suggest maybe making it a little more difficult? I think you would draw more people in that way...

Yeah it's straight forward, but there honestly wasn't much we could do with the Forge Scenery for that map. But the geometry on the map made it very good for a puzzle map.
