Saw Complete Beginning

Many of you will open this and think, "this much discussion over puzzle maps," and just back out of the page and try to find a more simple description of a map. I encourage you to please take the time to lay back, relax, and please read. Just so you don't get bored out of your mind, I added pictures of the maps for you to view.

Saw IV 3rd Room

Now, as many of you may not know, I have had many difficulties. My Saw 4 map had to go through many versions due to glitches (thanks Bungie Community for helping!) and thus narrowing downloads. I was happy with what little downloads I had at that time, so I tried again. I released Saw 5 on Christmas day. It was horrible: so many ways out, so many glitches, epic fail! At that time I had my doubts if puzzle maps could ever be good. I tried once again, and that is where my big break was.

Saw IV Starting Room

Saw Fourtress was next. Me and my great Saw forging buddy Nermana were forging away at what we thought was a Revolutionary moment for Puzzles. Maybe we were right; It combined fun and puzzles all in one. It was the perfect difficulty as well. Then, came the devastating moment. Me and Nermana were forging the map and just fixing up the problems when my friend came over. We were joking around and fixing the little problems when I decided to end it. I didn't save it! At that moment I was very devestated. I turned off my console and went outside with my friend for the rest of the day to cool off.

Then, about a week later, a miracle happened. Nermana said to look at his fileshare. I couldn't believe my eyes. He recreated the whole thing from scratch! He was my Hero. From then on we always forged puzzles together. Th e funny thing was, that very puzzle still happens to be the most popular Saw puzzle.

So, next comes along Saw Fourtress 2, a failure to the series. It was created soon after me and Nermana discovered the Unlimited Money Glitch, or FUMGC. We went ballistic. Me, Nermana, and ghostbusters123 then went off to forge our own sections of the map. Which then connected, and formed one big, jumbled mess. We thought it was amazing, so many ways to get through it, but it wasn't. There were more ways than we anticipated, people would then get confused, not knowing what the end was, so it was soon removed.

We were still determined forgers, as far as me and Nermana go. Ghostbusters123 left to go play Call of Duty 4, same with many of my other friends, he had abandoned Halo altogether. So, with requests of another puzzle map, we made another. Though, with such little time to prepare, decided to use all the previous puzzles in one, giant map called Saw Complete. It was too easy, we only introduced 2 new ides, which were not that great, not much you can say about Saw Complete, so, we moved on.

Saw Complete 2nd Room

We did not want to end our forging in a negative way so we made another puzzle which was called Saw Evolution. We did not want to fail this time so we used all new ideas and tons of testing. It was possibly my favorite Saw puzzle. Listed below are the people that tested the map.

Saw Evolution Sniper Ricochet

We were glad to have tested this so much, because there were many problems. One huge problem most puzzle makers make is not testing their map enough. I can not say this enough times. But, I am getting off track. Saw Evolution was a success, and just happened to be my favorite one I have made. We took a long break after that one to see how things would turn out.

Maybe we waited too long. People begged and begged us to make another, but we ignored them too long. Fans left us, people thought we would never make another. So, we made another to keep what little fans we had. This one was called Saw Tower.

This one took a while to make, because of so much testing with new ideas, it looked very messy, but ended up perfectly. Another problem we made though was that we didn't release it until 2 months later, at least we tested it good.

Out of everything, Saw Fourtress was the most downloaded with 6000 downloads due to being on a top 5 list and being on youtube.

I read the whole thing and enjoyed it. The telling of your map thru your personal experience was an awesome way to post it. This made it unique in my taste, because I haven't read a post of a map that tells it like this. Good job.

That is a lot of maps, good to know you care and conserved space and made a map pack. Also, it would be nice if you added more pics of each map
