Okay this is my first map so bare with me...

Map Description

This map started off as simplicity itself. I got permission from the guys over at Halo3Spots.com to use the BasketBomb map as a basis.

The idea is based on a Britsh Bulldog style game, using Infection. Essentially the players (in pink), spawn at one side of Foundry, and must run and jump into the teleporters at the opposite end. On the other end of the teleporter you will immeadiately die; counting as a score.






Trying to block your path is the 'Bulldog' (either Black or Brown), who must tackle the players before they get to the teleporters. The teleporters are raised and the Bulldogs have high gravity, to stop them jumping in and scoring as the players would: the only way the Bulldogs can score is by tackling the players. This means, that the game is has NO HONOUR RULES necessary.

A pretty effective tackle on the Last Man Standing:


Everyone is armed with Plasma Pistols, though these are useless as no-one has shields. Bulldogs can only 'tackle' an opponent by beating them down; thus infecting them. Humans however, can deal no damage, unless they can trick a Bulldog into the path of on of the map's high-velocity hazards.

These hazards include:

A 'road'; mind your self for flying cones and the occasional Mongoose (undrivable)


Some damn kids playing football


Also, if the map goes over 90s, more hazards will spawn to spice things up a bit:

The map is designed to work with an Infection variant of the same name. Zombies are slower than regular players, and can't jump to stop them cheating. Unlike humans, they can deal damage, but are just as vulnerable to the hazards. The Alpha-Zombie is slightly stronger and is a different colour. The Last-Man Standing is also a different colour to regular players, and is a bit faster than regualr players to give him a bit of a chance. Points are scored by reaching the teleporters (for humans) or infecting other players (for Bulldogs). The person with the highest score becomes the Alpha-Zombie for the next round, and there are 3 rounds overall.

In conlusion, yes this map is simple. But, I don't believe that is a bad thing; it is very easy to pick up and most importantly is fun! It's not designed to be greatly competitive, but is enjoyable none-the-less. Just to reiterate, I did get permission to use the BasketBomb court from it's creater, on the provision that I link to the Halo3Spots.com site.

I've always tried to get the game fish and minnows to work, but never could without new rounds starting. Do new rounds start with this game?
