Yeah. But I just beat the game and I've logged over 40 hours into it, I've not seen two guns that look the same, so there's probably a few hundred render models, that or I'm misremembering.

I don't know how many there are. They're essentially mixes of the same weapon. I've never found an EXACT copy of another gun. I've seen quite a few that have very similar stats, but never exact, and if they have the same stats, they have a different name and have a different render model.

Also, you can only see 4 stats on a gun, my friend told me that some dude hacked the PC code and found that there are up to 10 stats on guns but you can only see four. Meaning there are far more guns than people imagine.

Yeah but it is separated by area, and each area is unlocked when you do certain missions.

Yes, you should buy borderlands. I doubted the game even after I bought it...then I actually played it, it rocks dude.
