Just make the decision to not hang around gangs as much as possible and if you just have no choice keep to the background and don't "crack" people over frivolous things such as your "UV" bottle. It's a good way to get yourself killed.
No one, in my opinion, is stupid. We all have some sort of ability to choose from right and wrong and especially life or death. I don't feel sorry for gang violence or when gang members die as a result of it because it is always caused by them and they are finally held responsible for their actions. Think of all the people WLC may have jumped, think of all the people they may have hurt, should we really feel sorry when gangs hurt themselves if they show no remorse to people who happen to "look at them funny"?
Social sterotypes is another issue. If you speak as you type you are going to have a harder time (not an impossible time) finding a job. Which means you'll have a harder time trying to live an harder life. But you have good grades and I know that some part of you knows how to speak properly so I know you can make something of yourself. Its these teenage tendencies that are dragging you through the muck.
The problem doesn't lie in your grammar, choice of words or who you are as an individual; it lies in your poor choices, social stereotypes and the awkward position of hanging out with gang members. Partying, hanging out with girls and having a good time with friends is not only normal but it what I do as well. At these parties its the choices you make and the people you allow to be at those parties that is your downfall. Your friend represents, what I call, stupidity in a grand form. Who gets stabbed at a party and over what? How does one fuck up a situation so badly that the other pulls a knife and kills him? At some point we have to admit that he antagonized him even if all the antagonization the other person needed was for him to be in a rival gang.
