Best MLG Map Contest, Win A lot of Cool Prizes!!!

Hey guys, MLG here once again, and I'm here with a brand new contest that doesn't involve making those pesky signatures again. This contest will test your forging abilities and MLG knowledge all at once. In this contest you are required to make a map for Major League Gaming (MLG). The map can be made on any of the currently available maps on the Halo 3 and Halo 3 ODST disks. Here are the rules for the making of your map:

-The only weapons available for MLG maps are the Battle Rifle, Sniper Rifle, Covenant Carbine, Mauler, Rocket launcher, and in extreme cases, the Plasma Pistol.
-MLG does not use equipment. MLG does not use vehicles.
-A commonly used technique in MLG, but not necessarily in Forge, are 'Drop Spawns'. Drop spawns cause items to spawn at certain intervals, regardless of whether they've been grabbed by a player or not. It eliminates the H2 system where only one team knows when the spawn is going to occur. It is an emulation of H1 where, for example, rockets will spawn every 2 minutes regardless of when they were grabbed. If you grab them at 1:59 they will still spawn at 2:00.
-Another interesting point to note is that some MLG maps do not use spawn areas. They only use spawn points, because so long as a team sticks together and the points are set up right, they can be more accurate and fair to both sides. Onslaught and Amplified both use spawn areas, but at the same time do not overuse them. You need to find what works best for your map through extensive testing.
-Your Map can NOT have any non-approved weapons or grenades on it.

Now that we have all that cleared up here's how to enter:
You will have until October 25th to completley finish your map and post a download link on this thread. If you need help with that simple procedure just Private Message me and Mommy will help you. The voting thread for this contest will open immediatly after this thread is closed.

If you plan on competing in this contest just post a notice on this thread saying so, the when you have a download link to your completed map update that post, do not double post!!!

Now before some wise guy comes and asks why I'm doing this and what do I get out of it, the answer is sponsers pay for all the prizes and things I'm giving away so my answer is I'm getting payed by some sponsors to do this type of thing, so stop asking that please

I've made an MLG map that I'm still testing. Does the map have to be symmetrical? Or can it be completely asymmetrical like Guardian?

I have all the approved weapons and grenades and I have the power weapons on drop spawn. You're allowed to have Active Camo, right?

Im in. My map wont be finished till about October 20th or something like that. Also are you sure you posted this in the right section? I think it should be in announcements. And I think what that other guy means is can it be made by two forgers?

I'm not sure if you meant to do this, but the cash prizes don't really equate to the material prizes. For example, for 3rd place: a cash prize of $50, or a material prize of ODST, 1600 MP, and 3 month XBL, total cash value $100. Basically, the material prize is worth twice as much as the cash prize, so I doubt anybody would choose the cash prize in that case. Its usually best to make them match up in approximate value.

Sorry you read wrong and I wrote kinda wrong there, you pick ONE of those prizes, they dont all come into one prize.
