While working on my new longshore map, I made an awesome discovery. the item crate,fish is unmovable. this means it can be interlocked and geomerged. sorry if this was common knowledge.

EDIT: palette, fish is also unmovable

Not sure if it is widely known, but I knew it. The water crate, however, is movable.

I didnt know it. That might just be me though. This thread seems pointless.

I merged a fish crate into the extendable bridge. It was funny to watch the bridge extend afterward cause it went right through the crate.
