Tin Cup conversation thread.

Has anyone else since found that tin cup is by far the most usefull tool bungie has given us since permanet scenery. It defies gravity and stacking more just makes the effect more potent.

It's esspecially usefull for making race tracks or clean slopes out of boxes or walls.

It makes makeing roofs and 2nd/3rd floors painless.

And im pretty confident there are 101 uses for the thing. And, that being said I don't think we've unlocked its full potientiel yet. Post your knowledge about the Tin Cup and how you might use it.

I smell a possible Machinima brewing...

But more on topic. I completely agree with you. Though i'm not a racetrack maker, but when Sandbox first came out, I was all about jump courses.

One thin I found cool, forge half a wall into the bottom side of a Tin Cup. Sandwich style, then place some golf balls on that wall and if done correctly the golf balls will float.

Really cool if you put them close together standing vertically, during a jump course when you jump upon the soccer balls they fall down slowly. Which is cool and makes jump quests fun.

It keeps vehicles stationary, could be cool if you wanted to have the tank or wraith as just a cannon.

i think they are best used for grass like for a courtyard or sumthin like that if u flip it upside down. other than that i think it is useless unless for a golf course.

Along the anti-gravity thing.

Line man cannons on one side of the crypt and the other facing each other. Then place 5 or so Cups into it, when they collide in mid-air, they magnatize together. They then "Float" from man cannon to man cannon unless acted upon by an outside force, Then they float everywhere else.

=)

check this out if I put a box in the air and I want another box on the same level without taking the time to stack, or dealing with the inperfection(trail and error) of save and quit, I can just stack 3 Tin Cup over the edge of that box and it will absorb the box in to them (deffying the games gravity).

You don't see the use in that?

If there are many more people who don't know the power of the Tin Cup, I'm making a video tutorial!!

if you put a light onto an upsidedown tin cup, you can move it around while in player mode. Ive done this in forge, but not a custom game
