Wow! So far so good mate. It's really shaping up, and from the first screenshot, I could have easily made out that this was a Foundation remake with reading the thread title. Keep it up, I can't wait to see the finished product. =)

It looks REALLY good.
But excavation is perfect so there's no purpose for people to download a map that has already been made.

The middle Blocks seem a little too close together. and second this is in the wrong forum. Just go to Halo 3 Forge Maps

Jeah excavation is good...
But there are some things that i don't like.
It's just not really exact.
I'm perfectionist
For example:
The blocks aren't interlocked.
Sometimes if you throw a grenade it falls between the blocks, and that's not good for gameplay.

But doesn't matter^^
Some like mine and some like excavation

Nice but it's a shame the other guy beat you to it. That will hurt the popularity of this remake when you post it.

Which is really a shame because you said you've been working on this for a while.

It looks really neat though. But I can't really help much because I didn't play Halo 2 ^^

what oln canvas did u use did you use the one with all the oringinal items or the one with just the original respawn points and weapons?

Actually, when I played it, it fucking sucked. It was very easy to escape.

IMHO this is way better than Excavation. Excavation has minimal interlocking, meaning there is much more opportunity for a grenade to get lost in the cracks on the floor, ruining gameplay a bit. It looks like you took your time to do this, and that is something to be proud of. However, if you want even more kudos, try geomerging those grav lifts. The tutorial to do so is found here. You have to geomerge the wall or whatever you're placing under the map differently, but it shouldn't be too difficult to do once you get everything under, as I have done this myself two separate times on one map on Sandbox. It will be worth it in the end, and people will praise you for it and maybe end up a little astonished :P
