Not to burst your bubble or anything but if Bungie was going to do that, they probably would've included it with Sandbox. This sort of thing requires an actual game update.

Have you seen any threads asking why Bungie doesn't update immovable objects into the Pre-DLC maps? Well if you haven't, everybody at FH has come to the conclusion that this would require Bungie to take back everybody's Halo 3 discs and update them.

I think what you are proposing would take the kind of update described above. While it would be awesome of your idea was implemented, it would be near impossible for Bungie to be able to get everyone's Halo 3 disc, update them, and send them back.

What you're asking for isn't a small thing like moving/adding/deleting playlists or adding a map pack. What you are asking is actually changing the controls and functions of Forge and it is not very possible that Bungie will be able to do that.

When will people stop complaining about forge?

Bungie has already given us sufficient resources for making great maps.

Silly people asking the game developers to change integral parts of a games software...over the interwebz...with magik.

With all the complaining though, you just know bungie are going to put a full on map editor in their next game though

Dude, this is no thread to complain about forge saying ohh I don't know there should be toggles on when you want to interlock or make an object float in the air.All you are saying is you want some changes.

If you want changes there is an orginization what we call "Bungie"and we complain to them(or at least I don't.)Have you ever been told to suck it up and deal with it?Well guess what...Suck it up and deal with it,trying to say random crap on forgehub is useless unless you are a moderator or something. My point exactly and topic,Don't Take the Lazy Way Out.Gees.

You've seen the flood of sandbox maps, right? The main complaint people have with it is that its too easy to forge cool looking things on it, letting total nubxxors make something they think is good. If you make advanced techniques, like interlocking and floating, and make them available to the masses, you threaten to undermine everything forgehub has.
Basically, no. If you're dedicated enough to want your map to look good, you go over the hurdles of save & quit and interlocking.

I'm sorry this thread was silly but that it the stupidest thing i've seen in it.

This whole idea of "we aren't able to be elitist about our techniques" needs to stop.Everyone can and should be able to make whatever they damn well please. And the easier it is to do the better.
Honestly the whole concept of if forge got easier forgehub would break is complete and utter lunacy.Your looking at a community site that in reality shouldn't have an basis on the thing it is communitising and acting like its some sort of higher power or a "school" of forge.

Whoah wtf this is not going to turn into an argument.
If any of you dont agree with me, instead of cutting me down, you could just press that shiny button in the top left side of the screen that says 'back' :)

Oh course i forgot the whole point of a web forum is to sit around going
"Oh yes i agree,ho hum yes yes definately.Mmm this smug is good,oh yes quite good.Oh ho ho ho were so intelligent"

Honestly st.burke.Forums are places for people to argue and discuss stuff.
Contraversy breeds ingenuity. The space race and all wars known to man are examples.
And i guarantee you no one here is going to be apathetic and just ignore someone saying something they think is stupid.
