Need help naming your map?

Naming is an important part in map presentation. If a good map has a boring name, it may get overlooked thus losing publicity. A map needs to have a name that is attractive. This is the case with all products. Attractive names that grab people's attention will help get your map out there.

It can be difficult to chose a name that is both fitting and attractive. This why this thread was created. This thread is dedicated on helping members ForgeHub. You can use this thread to get your fellow users to help name your maps, gametypes, or even your screenshots.

Getting Your Map Named

Here is a format you should use to get a name.

Map Style:
Map Name Preferences:
Map Quality Named After:
Map Name Meaning:
Map Description:

You don't have to fill them all out.

Examples:

Map Style: MLG
Map Name Preferences:
Map Quality Named After:
Map Name Meaning: Speed or Agility
Map Description: A quick paced MLG map.

Map Style: Casual
Map Name Preferences:
Map Quality Named After: Escalator
Map Name Meaning:
Map Description: A casual map that use elevation. You can jump up or drop down or us the escalators for quick access.

Map Style: Competitive
Map Name Preferences: Begins with V
Map Quality Named After:
Map Name Meaning:
Map Description: This map has many enclosed spaces.

The name archive will be used for suggested names that aren't for a specific map, just a name suggestion. So if you have a cool name for a map that you would like other people to know about post it here.

Or, you can be like all the other scene kids and look in the dictionary for a word that not many people have ever heard of! Oh, but wait! Make sure to add the defenition of the word as an intro to your post! It is all the rave!
